And I feel fiiiiiiiiiiine!

God I love that song :D

And I'm guessing the greenhouse effect. I believe it's real and people aren't acting nearly fast enough (or at all).
Actually the Greenhouse is a proven scientific fact, the debate now is over whether humanity caused it or if it's natural.

I want something awesome to watch, but survivable. Nukes are good for that. Very shiny and theatrical, and afterwards, I can grab a rifle and run around popping super mutants.

I think it will end in an allout war between religious fanatics and scientific quacks in which normal intellegent people will retreat beneath the earth and survive while everyone else is killed in a raging torrent of fire. And then we will become a planet of the mole people

5 billion years the sun is gunna expand and vaporize earth. But for humanity we will prolly nuke ourselves into an oblivion long before that happens ;)

Come on. Crazy Iran guy, Hugo Chavez, that Republican who said that the bill to protect gays against hate crimes violates freedom of religious expression...

...gotta be nukes. We're far too stupid to be destroyed by anything but ourselves.

I went with Astronomy related. We will fail to see anyone unite the world and successfully get a planetary space program going. In division we will deplete our resources to the point of not being able to implement one even if we wanted to. Eventually the sun will burn out and we will all die billions of years from now.

That is what I see as the most likely "end of humanity".

Even if humanity doesn't die eventually the sun is likely to die even if we've moved on to other colonies so the planet goes "poof" even if it's children live on. :)

It doesn't matter how it ends. Why?

Because I feel fine.

That being said, it's probably going to be exhausted of its resources a while from now, making us fly off in our ships to some other world. It'll probably get vaporized by our dying sun a while later.

I voted Other.

Wow, you're all so boring and logical. Astronomy? Nukes? How generic and expected. No no. Now, this,

This, is the way the world ends.

EDIT: You know, that I think about it, this might fit under 'Aliens' alot better than 'Other'...

Seconded.

Also, there needs to be a "...and I feel fine" option. I mean if you're going to link the damn song, you've gotta make it an option.

Countries today are too smart and too dependant on eachother to start a nuclear war, I have faith the Hadron collider scientists know what theyre doing, and I doubt global warming is going to do anything other than bring back the Medieval warm period. The only things I think could destroy the world at this point are either some crazy astronomical event, or some sort of super virus.

Aren't wrath of God and Souplex destroying the same thing? I mean, last time I checked you were God. (Please, if you have a different opinion don't take offense. I mean none at all. It is all in good fun.)

The world WILL END because when the sun burns out it will expand to super huge proportions engulfing the first 3-5 planets, then the sun will shrink back down to a pin-prick and explode, in an awsome fireball of epic-ness

It would be pretty awesome if the planet just exploded one day for no reason at all...I mean, we'd all be dead, but if we weren't dead we'd have a good laugh about it.
Heh, that would be kind of like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, that was pretty random, too.
And funny.
:D
It would be kind of like HGG, wouldn't it? I can imagine Douglas Adams writing that sentence. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
