Jedi. Not a hard choice. If the force exists, I'll know I end up somewhere when I die. Also, I think I'd be pretty fit for a Jedi; I'm a very calm person.

Superhero. Because in the long run, fewer people will be trying to cut me into small chunks.
Also, I might get to meet Batman.

Jedi is essentially a monk with a cool lightsaber, telekentic and psychic powers
A superhero is a superhero and he cant have all those things and not be a monk.

I was thinking of the batman game arkham city and it crossed my mind what would I rather be a superhero of a jedi personally I think VADER is my choice COME TO THE DARKSIDEEE!!!!
Neither, as always I pick Mandalorian. Because Jedi/Sith are the reason the galaxy is always going to shit, and superheroes in reality are just unpaid vigilantes. I'm a merc, I wanna get paid, wear good armor and live by a code of honor...

contrary to popular belief, superheros are not required to wear spandex or tights, they just like looking pretty. I would chose to be a superhero because in general, they can do so much more. yes Jedi have the force, but really all that is is the ability to throw things with a flick of the wrist, trick people, and shooting lightning out of your ass. with a super hero, you might be able to heal instantly (wolverine), fly around blowing stuff up (iron man, Superman, just about everybody), shoot lasers or ice or heat out your eyes (superman), have super strength (Iron Man, Superman, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, etc), turn invisible, stretch for miles, shrink to the size of a gnat, be batman, and you are free to fight evil in the way you chose. Jedi have a strict code, some superheros can just go out and kill whomever they think deserves it (deadpool)or just be the crap out of them and throw them in the general direction of the prison (batman).

jedi=order
superheros=chaos

That's a tough choice, really. I tend to like the idea of Jedi better than superheroes (the dopey costumes and in some cases even dopier moralizing just doesn't appeal). The deal-breaker, though, is that I'm getting so sick of Star Wars anything. Lucas is ruining his creation. Almost all the books are better by several orders of magnitude than the prequels or that god-awful off-shoot CGI cartoon.

So it boils down to choosing between overpowered dopes in tights or increasingly overpowered psychic-monks-with-laser-swords.

Meh, I'll go with being a Superhero. At least that's something I can relate to.

Superhero, because I want to be the good guy and not some Communist robot with magicka who says that emotions are something to be transcended.

Mmmm, the classic superhero is a loner, does the whole secret identity thing, tragic figure, etc... Nah, I'd rather be a part of a large monastic order with hundreds of superheroes backed by an intergalactic republic. Though I'd probably be a bit unorthodox, the jedi code is a bit severe imho.

As much of a fan as I am of comic books, I had to go with Jedi.

While being a superhero would be neat, it would require me to be a hero, which would mean that I have to help people and I don't want that. As a Jedi I can just use the force to be lazy, and no one is going to stop me.

All this bitching about spandex. Clearly nobody has been paying any attention to superheroes lately. Superman's outfit is more or less a t-shirt and jeans now. Batman wears beyond-military grade body armour. Iron Man wears iron. Hulk wears almost nothing. There's nothing stopping a superhero dressing like a normal person, or at least not wearing tights.

That said, picking my powers would be a must, lest I end up on a list like this: http://www.cracked.com/article_16547_the-7-crappiest-super-heroes-in-comic-book-history.html

Um... some superheroes can do what a Jedi does... a Jedi is limited to doing Jedi things. Therefore, being a superhero has the potential for more freedom in what I can do.

Also, I prefer the term super-human so that we can also include super-villains in there as well. :D

Superhero.

Jedi are one-trick ponies with a long list of Do's and Don'ts. Superheroes can have lives, relationships that aren't being judged or expected to turn you to the Dark Side, and you don't have the Force constantly watching over your shoulder telling you Porn is bad.

Jedi. Just for the lightsaber. I've always wanted a lightsaber. You heard me science. Make it happen!

Truthfully, I'd probably be a Sith. Not an evil, galaxy conquering Sith. Just a do my own thing and leave me alone or I'll kill you with Force Lightning Sith.
