Colbert.
Both are great, but Stewart lacks the subtly that makes Colbert brilliant. Sure, its funny when Stewart is swearing, shouting loudly at some stupid policy decision/individual; but its damn satisfying when Colbert takes it that one step further, agreeing with something/someone downright stupid, just to cut it/them to shreds with razor sharp satire. The White House Press Dinner, or even his recent introduction to the 2010 Grammy's, being able to mock people to their faces and not have them realise it, or laugh alone uncertainly is something I don't see from Stewart.
In short, Stewart seems to verge on Srs Bznz in his satire, Colbert stays funny, and it ends being more powerful.
