I love squeakers, especially when in an infection match- they scream as you shove a plasma sword down their throat. It's entertaining.

I don't mind little kids, but they need to stay away from microphones...and FPSes...

EDIT: Also a major reason I don't play online anymore.

I voted yes.

I only use voice when someone needs help with something or talking to a friend.(that's what kids should do)

I seriously hate children
we all really hate children on games anyway. there was a 6 year old on borderlands and i swear he had his mic all te way up his f**king nose because all u could hear was his breathing.
Yeah im sick of halo 3 and modern warfare 2,hearing

"FUCK NOOOBZ HE SHOT ME WITH THT GUN AT CLOSE RRAAAANNNGGGGEEE?!?!"

-.- except,there are those few (1 in 86837 kids) who dont scream,Go them :D
one of them is my little brother (who goes on my account) hes really good at call of duty, but if you listen to him,hes silent, although his friends are busy screaming at how that predator missile always go for them.

stupid little kids never have any thing to say that intresting...when they do speak its to wine or say "your mom", not to mention how bad they are...if they could at least break even on the leader boards id be less peeved but they dont and thier just usless and noisy. the worst is when they sing or repeat what your saying

Those are typically the matches I stop playing seriously. My favorite was this kid who sounded maybe 13. He was hosting a L4D2 server apparently on Dialup it lagged so bad. I mean, I run servers on my less than stellar DSL and it's not that bad. So we're playing a survival match. He starts wailing into the mic about how we all need to get ready, and set up defenses. So I take the liberty to grab the grenade launcher, put all the gas cans by the ladders, and start the clock while everyone is still on the ground. I blow all the gas cans, so people will have to walk through fire just to get to the safe area, then I would use the nade launcher to take people out. My team mates laughed, and every time he voted for a restart, he was instantly out voted 3-1. It finally got him to stop.

So no, they aren't annoying, they are fun to mess with. Thats why I played CSS for a while. Owning kids with Mics.

here is how I solve that problem, go through the player list and mute everyone. Thus I can enjoy my game annoyance free.

90% of kids with mics are obnoxious, but that's what the magnificent mute button was invented for.

I always mute everybody when I get into a lobby, except my friends, that way is definitely the easiest, and I never run into any little kids :)

I hate kids with mics who dont shut the fuck up when the entire server tells them too. If yer angry, write it in text ffs. Stop screaming and raging over the mic, its annoying and makes my ears bleed.
This. Oh god this.
My eyes are pretty fucked as they are, I really don't need my hearing joining my eyesight in the "artificially improved" club.

If you have the kind of voice that'll blow speakers, and shatter double-gazing with pitch, then please, shut the fuck up on the mic. If you want to rant about someone getting a cheap kill, then do so in text. I don't want to have to call a glazier every time I play TF2, or CS, because some little shite keeps walking into bullets.

I hate them on mics, they're annoying and all you hear is whining and crap. You don't even know what they're saying half the time.

Seen as I (Apparently) am a 'kid' who sometimes uses a mic...
You are stereotyping! We are not all like that. Most of us don't actually have mics.
I do have a mic, it's just that I don't want to use it in case of events like these. Having gone through puberty and having my voice change does not alleviate the situation.

If I would ever use the mic, I'd pretty much only use it for helping the team. i.e. Scouting an enemy's base as a cloaked spy and telling your team when it's a good time to rush.

This thread would be equivalent to saying "don't you hate how stupid Southerners are?" or "don't you hate how ignorant and fat people from the us are?" you are just stereotyping. Most of the kids that act fine are basically (in my personal experience)are shamed and yelled at when they first say anything. Ex: when I was 12 and I just got tf2 I bought a mic so I could talk to the people on the server and the first thing I said was "heya everyone how's it going" to which I immediately got the response "Shut the fuck up kid". Every server I tried was all the same until I stopped using my mic.
I started playing CS when I was 10, going to the Wizards store and playing Lan games. I got a computer a 2 years later trying to play the game with other people. I'm 12 and racking up kills and trying to help other people, calling our strategies and all I hear is, "STFU kid", "Your voice is annoying gtfo." you get really self-concsious about your voice. Im 20 and sound 20 on the mic but I still think I'm gonna sound like a kid, very frustrating lol.

Some of the servers I played actually had kids making conversation with people much older than them with no shouts of ridicule from either side.

I recently played Counter Strike where one of the admins on the server was hacking and a 12 year old kid who wouldn't shut the hell up. That got on my tits.

OT: Generally, I don't mind kids playing games as long as they know what they are doing! (And keep quiet most of the time)
That's exactly what I always do. Thank God for adding text boxes in PC games. Better to keep your comments slow rather than get them screamed at.
