I usually just hit the mute button, they don't bother me that much. Or if I'm feeling particularly bitchy that day I'll just troll them. I made some 12 year old on Zombie Master start bawling because I made something up about him being too young to have Steam. I said I reported him, his account would be banned, and that he wouldn't be able to play games through Steam again. Total crap I know, but he bought it. The funny part was that he held down the mic as he was crying, just feeding the abuse from myself and others. Does this make me a asshole? Yea, probably.

I don't mind kids on multiplayer games, I mind whiny and obnoxious people on multiplayer games. As long as their not whiny or obnoxious, I don't care if kids are on the server.

Yeah I am the same way I am 16 sound 16 and I don't use my mic as much as I should because of that same thing.

and the little kids on there try to act big to impress older players by swearing
and not just the casual shit or fuck but words like C*nt
thats just wierd and akward when he sounds 8 years old

They're not nearly as bad as the arrogant bastards that think they have the right to tell other people what they should and should not be playing.

Way to stereotype younger gamers. Now, I'm not saying that there aren't annoying kids with mics out there, because there obviously are. I'm just saying that they're not any worse than annoying adults with mics. From personal experience, the vast majority of abuse I've received over the comms online has been from people that sounded like they were in their early twenties at least. And they really should be more mature.

Besides, the mute button is there for a reason.

I'm 15, and I don't have the manliest voice in the world. It all depends on what they're saying, if its "HEY I'M DA B3ST!! NOOBS!" The I hate them, but I've met about 5 who could actually hold up a conversation or tactics.

Instant test: If they know who Pythagoras is they're good in my book.

It's pretty ironic how people want to protect kids from the perverse language and whatnot, then you go online and it's pretty much just the kids who shout the obscenities. Adults generally act like adults, more or less.

My question is where are the parents.... they are to young to be playing games particularly on a live system.... i mean sure games like bolt and other disney movies games are fine but the problem isnt just the mics its them actually playing games not suited for kids....


I had a 10-12 year old kid abusing me because I dared to beat him at NBA 2K10 witch is fine for children to play... but then he followed me onto MW2 after a few matches I got sick of this kid and he followed me on to GOW2 now what parent buys a 10 year old kid gears of war.... wtf
