Saiyan, mostly because you don't need to have a yellow sun in order to be totally badass. Not to mention, every time you almost die your powers increase significantly. Oh yeah, and shooting fireballs that can topple mountains with your pinky finger beats out heat vision. Sorry, Superman. :/
That depends. As a Saiyan would I have to spend 5 episodes shouting at the top of my lungs?
Sure, Kryptonians get to be uber-badass and the only weakness is a rare crystal, plus a Fortress of Solitude! but Saiyans get to train with a monkey and a guy who tells bad jokes.

If I had to choose between them, I'd be a kryptonian, because then at least I could look at myself in the mirror without seeing the saddest cultural influence since the macarena, and be forced to attempt suicide.

well id go with saiyan even though im not a big fan of DBZ and am of DC comics (as you can see by my avatar)
it has 2 obvious advantages:
1. no goofy weeknesses unless i missed something there isnt an equivilant for kryptonite or red sun rays for sayians sure cutting the tail makes them weaker but even without the tail they are still really powerfull!

Saiyan. This isn't even close. What weakness do they have? You just have to be stronger than them. Superman gets his strength from the sun, so if he goes somewhere else that doesn't have a sun, then he's boned. Also if someone gets a piece of kryptonite, he's done.
well you can always charge up the solar battery in your ass and come back to life as a kryptonian without having to wait for your dumb friends to collect those damn balls...Aethren said:

Do I get to be a half-Saiyan/human? Seriously, Goten does fuck all training, is about 6 years old, and can most likely destroy the planet. No question.
hmm, I am noticing that too few people are taking the moon into account for their decision. Well, some saiyans have shown their ability to stay in control when they are apes, so it may not be that big of a problem after a few goes. I am gonna go with Saiyan.

I'd be Saiyan just for the hair alone, though that may just be wishing thinking as I've started to lose mine.
Consider the major weakness to being kryptionian is a lump of radiated rock from the blown up home planet (ok sure I may never encounter the rock but do I want to risk it? Also there are several different colour rocks that can mess me up) I'm going with Saiyan. Ok Sayian got their tail being pull as a weakness too but I think the space rock is the bigger weakness.
Saiyan, definetly. Why? Well, because:
1. The tail is really useful and you can train it to not be your vulnurabillity (like Nappas and Vegetas);
2. You will never get old. You will die, eventually, but even at the age of 100 you'll look and feel like 40-years old guy;
3. Everything related to martial arts you can learn in a week, while human has to learn it for a few years;
4. Your power is limitless: the more you fight, the stronger you get;
5. Even though you are not born with an abillity to fly or shoot beams, it is easy for you to learn.
Probably something else, but I don't remember right now.

Wait, so if all the alien races are around, that means i'd be also able to learn Goku's teleportation. Then Sayian all the way, specially since this also means that the Dragonballs exist.theheroofaction said:
Even though an avarage Sayan may not be impressive, the upper end of the scale is probably higher then superman. I mean Goku at the end of the boo saga is at least as strong as superman.
I just hope i can keep my wits and not be downgraded to Gokus xD
