Poll: Laptop or PC

Well, if I had a choice between a desktop PC or a Laptop, I'd go with the desktop PC. I'm a gamer, true, but even if you don't need the very latest most powerful cards in your computer, after two or three years, the age of the laptop starts to show. And in a bad way too, I was forced to use only a laptop for a few months. And by the time I got enough money to get a new PC, the laptop was slower than tar going through a straw. And I use Linux, so i can't blame it on viruses either. You need some memory upgrades from time to time, just to keep up with the demands of various art and office tools. So yeah, I'm going with PC here

Yea laptops age badly I'm running vista on a 4 yr old desktop with only 1.25 gb of ram but the processor makes up for it.

I'd say laptop, just because it's easier to carry around and keep in my room.

This piece of crap I've got now is awful. 2 years old, 256MB RAM, 40gb hard drive and AMD mobile Sempron processor. In other words, PC World shite.

I'm hoping to get a Dell Vostro 1710 sometime this year before uni. My fiance's got one, and it plays Crysis very well, without melting.
