But Tali is so useful when hacking shit man, but on the other hand I absolutely loved Mission, she was such a sweetheart, and...

I felt horrible dismissing her since I was an evil ass Revan when I played that game, but sacrifices must be made. =-)
I used Garrus for my hacking.

I murdered her, and then her giant carpet. And I didn't feel bad about it.

:)
Damn dude you are evil, but being evil in video games is hilarious so kudos to you my friend. =-)

Fucking christ dude, I cracked up when i read that. Thanks for that. =-)
Most of the time I play the good guy in games where you get the choice, because playing bad feels so unnatural. For example, I've never finished an evil Fable 2 playthrough, because it feels wrong working against the carefully set out social system. You're above retribution, so there's no challenge or structure.

But in KotOR,
I was given a perfectly reasonable choice between good and evil, and in that case, evil just appealed to me more.
I know exactly what you mean...

For the first part of the game I played as a good ass mother fucker, but when I found out that I was Revan, I found no alternative, I had to be evil. Revan is the coolest Sith to ever fucking be man, even cooler than fucking Darth Vader.

Ashley for being a racist xenophobe.
Well, she just annoyed me anyway, but at least I can use that as a justified reason to never use her :3
I mean I liked the squad because each of them had a reason to be there after Saren, which I'll explain:

Garrus: Had always suspected him and wanted to be involved in his capture
Wrex: Was a bounty hunter joining the team out of debt to Shepard and having a personal grudge against Saren for what he was trying to do to the Krogan (I.E mass produce them as slaves)
Ashley: Last survivor of Eden Prime, brought on the Normandy and now is motivated by revenge.
Tali: Owes a life debt to Shepard which she aims to fullfil.
Liara: Put into protective custody on Shepard's ship.

But Kaiden just seemed to be always there without really proper motivation. I didn't dislike his character, I just realised that for the sake of story Wrex and Ashley had more reason to remain then him.
That's sort of like saying that Joker, the doctor woman and the navigator (Pressly? Was that him?) didn't have a reason for being there. He was an enlisted soldier assigned to the Normandy, like all the faceless guards on deck. He just runs out and shoots stuff with you, because he has biotic skills.

Edit: Also there was the matter of saving the galaxy. That's a pretty good motivator imo :p
Yeah I get what you mean by that, however I'm just saying it in my mind worked better with him dying as a close friend of Shepard's and therefore motivating him to continue to fight back.
I see Kaiden dying as good plot development I guess is my point.

For me it depended on who i was playing as:

I wanted a balanced party so when I was a soldier, it didn't make much sense to have Ashley and Wrex to be in the team.

I did find Kaiden to be the most boring... when I played as a male though. He acts a little different when you play as a female.

I think I found everyone except Wrex and Ashley underdeveloped. Garrus wasn't too bad either i suppose, but they could all be improved. Nevertheless, i found ashley properly developed AND annoying. Which I don't mind. She annoyed the hell out of me, but came off as a real person. A person who I don't like. So she gets to die in a fire.

The one time I used Liara she got in the way more than Ashley did, so her.

Mostly I stick with Wrex and Garrus.

Excuse me but I forget his name, he was the endangered alien mercenary who solved everything with violence. I never liked him, he whined about everything and disagreed with any possible decision I made, it was like I did something to him or something. It was only because I had full skill in persuasion that I was able to save him instead of just busting a cap in his ass which I must say I felt like actually doing at the time.

I found Kaiden to be the least interesting of the characters writing wise, and I found his skillset was weak combat wise. He seemed to die in pretty much every fight. I didn't hate him, but he just didn't have the appeal or interest of the other characters.

And I just don't get why people hate on Ashley for her prejudices. Sure, she had issues, but they had reasons - her grandfather and her entire family were flushed down the toilet because he didn't think saving the earth militarie' pride was more important than stopping turians nuking whole city-blocks to try and kill his men, said dumping has led to her getting crap assignments so she hasn't had to deal with and adapt to aliens, and her first direct alien contact was the geth and a spectre slaughtering her unit, and almost wiping out an earth colony.

Maybe it was that I was a full biotic, or that I liked using a 2 Combat, 1 Tech, 3 Biotic team, but Tali was a wrench in my strategy. She felt like a wrench really, which is why I only used her in my Mako missions.

My general team was Garrus and Wrex, or Garrus with my honey Ashley~

Liara T'Soni, she was very "flat". What emotion I did see in her was awkward and foolish. Alenko was my second least favorite teammate, not because of who he was, if you talk to him he a really intresting person and by far the most sensible, but he had zero use in gameplay or in the larger story.

I did love Wrex and Tali however, by far the best teammates in the game.

I've said it once and I'll say it again.

ASHLEY. ISN'T. RACIST. ASHLEY ISN'T XENOPHOBE AND ASHLEY ISN'T A RELIGIOUS FANATIC.

She has the right to dislike aliens. Her grandfather, General Williams, surrendered to aliens. Because of that, the Williams name is mud in the Alliance military. People have prejudice against her and her family. She feels like she has to clear the Williams name of the whole "surrendered to aliens" thing. That's the reason she doesn't trust them.

That being said, she happily volunteers to aid the salarians on Virmire. Of course, if she had to choose between saving a human and saving a alien, she would save a human, but wouldn't you do the same thing?

About the religion thing. She only mentions that ONCE in the entire game. Once. And she doesn't cram it into your face, she just asks for Shepard's opinion. I'm an atheist myself, but I don't judge a person (or a fictional character) just by his/her beliefs, unless he/she is a fanatic. And Ashley isn't.

/rant

My least favourite squad member and character is Liara. She's boring, naive, awkward and weak.
I'm so glad ME2 doesn't have squad members that are made of pudding.

Wrex.... The only reason I didn't kill him when given the chance was because he was my tank, and my powerhouse. As a character, I really fucking hated him. Especially for giving me that guilt trip about the procreation of his species... Well fuck the Krogans, Liara was the best of the lot.

Kaiden probably. I always leave him behind. Also Tali, but I probably shouldn't do.
I hate Ashley though. She's a useless member of my squad and she's got a terrible personality. She took her name from Evil Dead, though. That's a plus.
