I prefer to keep the old characters, the new ones look too much like rednecks and look poorly developed.
Are you saying they look like rednecks just because they're from the south?
No, I don't think that there redneck by location.

They look like they're supposed to look. The trailer was set in New Orleans. People always dress and look like they presented them in E3 in Louisiana.
Thank you for not bitting my head of just because of a simple statement I said.

Second, I did not know that the setting was in New Orleans or I wouldn't of made that statement.
No problem. I hate flaming people, unless they deserve it. :p

I would like to see the original survivors along with the new group, I'd like to see how they would interact with each other through their dialog...

But if I had to choose I'd keep the originals, I've become a little attached to them...

I dunno. I never really thought that character development would be important in a game like Left 4 Dead. It's a game about zombies; seems silly to give a crap about who you're playing as.
hey, we grew attached to Zoey, Louis, Bill and Francis. We can only dream that they can be played as unlockables.
If that's true, what's to say that you couldn't get attached to these new guys? Characters come and go, so is there really any point in caring? Besides, I'm sure Valve WILL ultimately do anything to please their fans regarding Left 4 Dead 2, only to bring attention away from the fact that they still haven't finished Left 4 Dead.

Oh, because in Left 4 Dead the characters are just so refined.
Seriously though, I think they try to create stereotypes in games like this. The grizzled veteran, the over-the-top bikey, The hot college girl and the (black) office worker, who wears his tie loosely.
So the second lot of characters being rednecks, when the game is set in the South, doesn't surprise me.

Why. So many people have made sexual inuendos about Zoey, Made many refrences to Bill having a heart attack, Everyone hates Francis and no one wants to be Louis becuase they think the black guy dies first.

In the end has the roster changed that much. Coach=Old man AKA Bill, Alex= Buisness man(He has a suit thats good enough.)AKA Louis, Ellis= Rebellious character= Francis, and the final one (Can't remeber her name.) = Zoey.
