<color=white>On this.
There's a few posts already that pointed out that the team that makes L4D isn't the same team that makes Episode 3. That should be common knowledge to people that know how video game development works, but apparently not. No offense to you in particular.. it's just.. shocking that I keep seeing the same thing over and over again.orangebandguy said:Looks great, but Episode 3 should be at the top of their priorities. I think they're taking so long because they are trying to think of an amazing epic ending for such an awesome series.
Yep, 50 more bucks for a few new melee weapons and new characters we dont care about. TOTALLY WORTH IT.J.E.T. said:WHO CARES I FINALLY GET THE CHAINSAW I HAVE BEEN SCREAMING FOR SINCE THE FIRST ONE CAME OUT WOOOHOOOO! [ok yeah I am enthusiastic about this game lol] It looks like the first game, just better all around: [aside from half the new team being black {not racist}]new AI director, new weapons, different ammo types, new Graphics, new zombies & bosses, ect. (looks wicked I am getting it though because {suprisingly} every game Valve has made so far has been great.)
This. Also, remember that no price has been given yet, and after doing some research, it definitely does justify making a whole new game instead of updating. And they did say that they were going to continue updating the original L4D, and allow custom maps in L4D to be used in L4D 2.runtheplacered said:There's a few posts already that pointed out that the team that makes L4D isn't the same team that makes Episode 3. This time, apparently, there will be an overarching storyline between the campaigns. Valve claims that people will be able to see the development of the four characters as they progress.teutonicman said:Because its easier to produce L4D then a game with a compelling story. To be fair episode 3 could be coming out with L4D (mabey called the blue box).
