Of course they'll win. At a few points in the game, I would disguise myself as military, than stand next to a cop, and just watch him kill shit with his pistol. I never saw a cop died, nor did an infected ever get close enough to hit me while I was near one.

If a single cop can do that with a pistol, Francis, Zoey, Bill and Louis should have no trouble with their M1014 automatic shotguns.

You need to:
A- Spell your title proper.
B- Make your post more clear because I think many of us believe you meant the prototype of Left 4 Dead and not a game named Prototype.


There's no real comparing, L4D is supposed to be survivors and Prototype is about a prick who eats people for a quick disguise rather than going to a shop. Or being polite and knocking them out and stealing their clothes.

When your only way of communicating with other people is through text, wouldn't you think that piss poor grammar and spelling is akin to mumbling everything? Then not even making a real effort to make yourself understood on top of it, and calling people who tell you this assholes. Hopefully you will take a look take a look at the forum etiquette guidelines and try again in the future.

If it's the survivors versus Prototype zombies, I'm going to count on the survivors. They've beaten plenty of similar enemies in their own game, and the only real threat are the Prototype hunters, but those things mostly stick to attacking Mercer, so they should be fine, as their only likely to have to fight one or two at a time. If it's the survivors versus Mercer, they're screwed. Unless they have some rocket launchers and are very coordinated- damn rocket jugglers.

Wait... is the virus airborne at a point or is it purely through bite later on? I can't get a clear answer out of the wiki. It says the hives will infect more... but I have no idea what that means, is it the spewing of spores or what?

And having survived the virus in Left 4 Dead I have to wonder if they are considered "candidates" for the Blacklight virus.
