Poll: left 4 dead, possibly the best game ever

ive only recently got the game and to be honest im loving it. ALOT.
i thought games like oblivion and portal were the best games out there but left 4 dead has changed my mind on that. so im woundering if any of you think the same as me in saying that its one if not possibly the best game out there

L4D is a great game, but its lack of levels and online-heavy gameplay knock it square away from the "Best Game Evarr" Trophy.

To me, everything that is good in L4D in balanced by something that makes it difficult to continue playing (hordes of zombies vs. awkward special placment, multiple campaigns vs. repetitiveness, good co-op play vs. an overemphasis on teamplay) so I would say it's ok and a good game but it is far from being the best game ever made (although I would say it's the best game Valve have ever made).

Left 4 Dead is a fantastic game the first time you play it, a great one the second time, and decent after that.
The utter lack of replay value essentially ruins it.

I really don't even know how you can say anything is the best at anything of all time.

It'd be like trying to name the best song, band, artist, painter, writer, book, etc. How can you really define any one body of work as the best of it's kind forever.

i dont get people who love it.i mean, its extremely well made and there arent to many flaws but... it was extremely boring and offered nothing new to me. yes, i played it with friends. and being a zombie was kinda cool but when you die when the glare at you rudely and wait 20 freaking seconds it gets old. fast.

I'm all for teaching Louis that the pills are for sharing (Preferably, with the butt of my rifle) but L4D doesen't stack up to masterpieces like BioShock.
