The Shadow Temple was the best for its creepy atmosphere, although the boss was kind of lame in my opinion. The Water Temple had the best level design, but I didn't like it as it was far too hard for me to navigate, particularly because I left halfway through and then didn't know where I was in terms of puzzles.

Why do people love this game it took them 7 years to develop and its just o.k. the franchise was great up snes then it lost something. Wind waker was by far the worst sail 20-30min so you can play an hour or two of game.
Wind Waker was fantastic, you only had to sail 30 minutes very rarely, and when you got the warp song you only had to do about 10 minutes sailing maximum to get anywhere. Also, why do you not class sailing as part of the game, when it is clearly a major part of it, as it is integral to the series timeline and the Great Flood event.

Anyway, people (like me) love Ocarina because it gets just about everything right. It's a good length, plays well and it's fun.
It's all well and good talking it down because you liked the old 2-D games more, but in a conversation specifically about Ocarina of time, what exactly are you contributing?
Ok you want me to contribute what about the horse it was almost useless and it was deffentaly more trouble than worth there happy.
Not really... she was fun to get, useful to travel and an all around great addition to the game.
Plus you needed her to get the Biggoron's sword, a particularly satisfying side quest when you eventually complete it.

Anyway, although they were all superb in every sense of the word, I picked the spirit temple, the time-travel puzzles were great, as were the Iron Knuckle sub-bosses and the Twinrova climax was a delight.

I would have to say Spirit Temple because of the mirror sheild, also the boss. I hate the Water temple for it being so complex and long.

Spirit temple
because of the Iron Knuckles (favorite mini-boss) and the fact that you must use both Links to make it through
also the double boss
:D

Forest Temple. There is something about that music and the environment that sells the place for me. It's a hard decision because OoT had great temples overall, unlike MM where I only really cared for the Stone Tower Temple.

Guess you missed the warp too, but this is about OoT. Where did this even come from?

There's something mysterious and enlightening about the Forest Temple. Good memories :)

What did commas do to be shut out of your life?

And just out of interest, what didn't you like about OoT?

I can't decide. At all. Nearly every temple just has something that makes the experience stick in your mind forever.

Ah, my favourite weapon in any Zelda game ever, no shield made the fighting so much more interesting.
It even made up for the sheer horror of when I first used the Giant's Knife, that weapon made me cry (figuratively).

It's been a while since I played this game last but after reading all these comments and remembering what these temples are actually like I seem to remember that Fire and Spirit were pretty awesome. I thought Water had a cool but confusing design, but I did like the iron boots + Zora tunic gameplay.

I'd say Spirit Temple is my favourite. The boss is awesome and the mirror shield totally matches my red tunic, flying boots and biggoron sword!

My least favourite would be Water Temple, not because it's hard or anything, but because of all the water and the constant equipping/unequipping the iron boots. It just take too long to get from point A to B... (Yeah, I'm lazy.)

And it's Dodongo's Cavern =)

The Forest Temple taps into something within my soul.
I can't explain it but when I hear that music in it, it sends shivers up my spine, almost nostalgic ones even when I was first playing it. I love everything about that dungeon. The eerie misty atmosphere, the disturbing boss fight, the absolute dark greenness, all of it.
Well I have to agree with this FinalGamer here. There is something about the forest temple that just clicks with me. The other temples, once you disregard the temples you do as a child, I think tend to like equally. The best music would be from either forest of spirit temple.
Completely agree with you there, Spirit Temple was this wonderful Middle Eastern vibe, also eerie in its own way.

Also, OH GOD THE WELL! Does anyone else still freak out at the Well?

I know exactly what you mean - i think it's the music combined with the lighting ;)
But I gotta choose the Shadow Dungeon - possibly because I have a faible for horror games, and this is the part that's closest to it, except for the well (gotta admit that this was my favourite part)

I would say the city in the sky dungeon in Twilight Princess (mostly because of the epic boss battle)
