Brownies alone can be a little bland at times, but mix them with some vanilla ice cream... Love: American Style.

Brownies tend to be chewier then their cake counterpart. In all cases, cake is normally better; but that's because it's saved for special occasions. Brownies are a eat-any-time-every-day-and-not-care vacation for the mouth, which makes them awesome!

Until you have to chew.

Brownies depend tremendously on recipe and baker. To a certain degree, a cake will always be delicious because even dry cake has frosting to make up for it. That and the fact that people very, very rarely mess up cakes for some reason. I see a lot of people burn or overcook brownies, but just about no one does the same to cakes.

But a good brownie is something magical. And that's without even discussing brownies that are magical (always remember the first rule of baking - make a 2:1 ratio of regular brownies to magical brownies - this is very, very important).

I remember my high school used to serve brownies as a dessert item every day.

They weren't hot out of the oven, but they were nice and moist...and the chocolate frosting on top...

I'm drooling right now just thinking about it...

who the hell has been making the brownies you have eaten? ive had bad ones too, but i usually get to eat delicious brownies... and believe me, the only thing they have in common with cake is that they are chocolate.

also, you should try eating a cosmic brownie. theyre great, and if youre bored, you can manipulate them while they are still in the wrapper and make them look like a turd. its actually pretty funny to drop one on a friends lunch tray. people freak out, naturally. the weird thing is that most of the people ive done this to refuse to touch it even after they learn it is just a brownie :| fun times

I resemble that remark.

Back to serious, I find Brownies to be quite a delicious food. I have them very rarely so I savour them when I do.

Our take on brownception

Brownies inside of a Brownie, tossed in a Nutty Bar and topped it off with some cookie dough balls(Not shown). I tried talking people into putting some bacon for some true Epic Meal Time action but it was a no go.

Served it à la mode style.
Oh my god you created heaven. I want that more than I probably should.

Why do people say "chocolate brownies" anyway? Are there any other kinds?
do you cater parties?

There were meant to be chocolate forests, made of chocolate-growing trees, and the fruits of these bountiful trees were meant to be choc-fudge brownies. But evolution screwed up and put it in an unprocessed 'bean' form.

Chocolate makes my head hurt. Also I kinda don't like cake.

I don't like anything sweet, really.

I just realised I have never baked brownies before. How the fuck. I need to do that now.

Brownies are overrated, fudge is where the win is.
Brownies are like concentrated cake, and fudge is concentrated brownies... It's like someone decided to find the higest cake concentration index possible... and created fudge.

Brownies can be quite delicious if made well. I go crazy for a good blondie with maple sauce if they're fresh and warm... Mmmm....
