I agree that you shouldn't limit your choices to just gamer girls because you never know who you might miss out on if you restrict yourself in that way. But, I would also like to add to all the naysayers out there, you don't have to share your console with a gamer girl. A gamer girl will probably have her own.

In my experience, it's better to focus less on what a girl does and more on who she is. Besides, teaching your girlfriend how to play video games can actually be a lot more fun than just playing video games with a girl.
In other words, find a girl you like, get to know her, get her to trust you, trust her, and then you can start swapping hobbies.

Dating sites usually get rallied against as unreliable, but there are dating sites out there specifically for gamers/nerds. If you're really interested in looking, I'd start there.
A few have said this before me, but why limit yourself to a girl who is a gamer? There are girls who are fine with a guy being a gamer without being one themselves.
I used to think that girls needed to like the same kind of music, movies, style and games as myself before they seemed "worthwhile" to date, but the truth of it is, sometimes you find people who are the exact opposite of you who you just click with and can't help but get on with at a deeper level. Granted it would be cool if a girl said "What do you want to do tonight?" and instead of going out you could say "Lets screw some Americans on Bad Company 2" and she'd be up for it, but a girl who likes you for you and can see past whatever flaws you may have must surely be pretty cool in itself?

You sure you want a gaming girl? Most of them are eather really competative or not the kind of gamer you are talking about. While there is some people inbetewn to met thouse are kinda hard. Best of luck though. I'm sure there is some one fitting your needs.
My ex was, but she wouldn't make the effort into a relationship. I'd prefer a average girl who doesn't mind me being a gamer, her being a gamer is a bonus.
Heh, this isn't the place to ask or to look, pal. I know a ton of female gamers, and at this moment all my friends are gamers (and the majority female, only about one male at this time...). This isn't the sort of place they hang out. But we do exist and in healthy numbers.
