You can find them, but you don't want them. Most of them know that they are a hot commodity and have no remorse for fucking you over. I've watch two of my closest friends get screwed over hard by "gamer girls." They tend to be more lazy, needy, and bitchy than the regular girlfriend, and will cheat at the drop of a hat (not all but most). I personally went with "Girl that accepts gaming culture but doesn't readily participate." I'm happy and have been for many years, it's just like having a regular girlfriend w/o all the hassle of explaining why you enjoy being a gamer.

So im a male, of course been single 4 years want a gf, BAD, but there is one catch i am only willing to date women who are into gaming, im not the only of my friends who has decided this and more so they are ALL single, so im just wondering is it possible to find a female gamer to date? and if so where are they all hiding?

Just go down your local and pick up a chick there. There is more to life than gaming, this thing is called sex, it is far more important than gaming.

Generally female gamers I find aren't quite so obvious at first glance. Ignoring the obvious stereotypes, you just can't tell what people do just based on appearances. Besides, if you get along with a girl enough to want to go out with her, doesn't it stand to reason you'd probably have a fair amount in common? Even if she hasn't tried gaming before doesn't mean she'll take a dislike to it.

You could drink very expensive soda all night? If you're a student then the student bar is a great place to pick up girls, especially since they are far more likely to be secret geeks aswell. If you're lucky your local university will allow entry for non students on certain nights too. Thus giving you more chance to find one that suits you even if you arn't a student.

1. Yes, it is possible to find girls, to date, who are gamers.
2. You're standards are wayyyyy too high. It's tough enough to find a girlfriend anyway (I mean a lasting relationship, not a fling), and that applies to every guy in the world (despite stereotypes and Hollywood and so on). If you're limiting yourself then of course you're not going to find a girlfriend. Lower your standards, otherwise you risk being alone for the rest of your life.

There's more to life than gaming. Just because you enjoy it, doesn't mean your partner has to as well. If you meet a girl who you get on with and start a relationship with, then build on other common ground, not just gaming. If she likes gaming too then brilliant, if not then never mind. Maybe you could introduce such a partner to gaming? But don't use it as a standard, because you'll never get anywhere like that.

Its strange because I never see any guys who game as much as I do, well I only see them on the internet. I'm not really looking right now so its not that big of an issue but I wish I knew some real hardcore gamers.

As a girl I guess my advice is to go to things like Comic Con or Supanova (depending of your location) and follow attractive girls around with a club. When you finally are able to isolate them enough from the rest of the crowd you silently creep up and ready your club and then you ju- actually on second thought maybe you should just go up and say "hi".

Tip: One of the main selling points of dating a gamer is that they are normally a)sweet b)boyish c)smart or d)caring. These are the assumed qualities and if you are in possession of at least two of them then you are good. Humor is a big plus as well so use it if you got it.

Oh and also when you are in the process of saying "hi" try your best to treat them as you would a soft, squishy, delicate, friend. So basically just be lots of a,b,c,d mixed with a good amount of illusion of not being desperate and you should be golden.

Woot its my belief that im in posession of all four of those qualities its good to get a female gamers perspective on this, and yeah male gamers arent hard to find just go to a gamesworkshop but yeah males are alot easier to find than females i have like 50 RL friends that are gamers (back in aus neway) and yeah ive got 2 female gamer friends 1 hardcore the other not so much anymore, but both are taken so yeah just try not to look desperate that should be a nice change.
