I'm open to whatever policies are most beneficial at the time, as far as economy and foreign policy go. I'm generally Centrist-Libertarian, with some Prussian sympathies. I'm dissatisfied with the two-party monopoly in the U.S., and I refuse to pick sides during elections on principle.

Furthermore, the terms "Liberal" and "Conservative" can mean different things depending on where you live.

I put Other. I'm a Libertarian.

Libertarian: A believer in a political doctrine that emphasises individual liberty and a lack of governmental regulation and oversight both in matters of the economy ('free market') and in personal behavior where no one's rights are being violated or threatened.

I like to think that liberal and conservative have completely lost their original meanings. So, when I say "Liberal" I mean I am more 'for the people' than 'for the Queen'. Woo, Canada.

I'm generally libertarian except I believe in an very strong military.

Republicans/ democrats all favor larger government so I dislike either party. But until we get proportional representation we are stuck(except in extreme cases) with a bi-polar system.

I would say I push beyond Liberal into Radical. The irony being that my form of radicalism tends to circle around and bump into Libertarians coming from the opposite direction.

Can you define in more detail?
I'm an American.

I despise Fox News more than all, but I hate most of the MSM for being so corporate/ratings run to the point where Jon Stewart and the internet/print newspapers are more reliable sources than 24/7 news channels.
I am a non interventionist on foreign policy.People should rise up against their corrupt governments for their own reasons and have their direction determined as a people.Something that neoconservatives/neoliberals seem to forget. However if we are attacked by a nation/state or a terrorist organization sponsored by said nation/state we should respond with deadly force.
I want religion out of the government.
I believe abortion should be legal because women should control their bodies.
All drugs legalized, regulation and taxation on such can be left to the states.
Don't have any strong stance on environmental issues.
Would like a universal healthcare option.
Marriage separated from the government and churches allow people to get married, while making a government contract for legal rules on partners, including multiple partners and same sex relationships. (polygamy should be allowed).

I'm moderate but if you forced me to pick a side I'd go with liberal. Although for some reason when not talking about politics I tend to like conservatives more, I find them to be more down to earth and have their heads stuck slightly less far up their asses than liberals, of course if you bring up politics it's a different story.

I'm neither really... though a test I took way back when labled me a Libertarian, I tend to identify myself as a Conservative because I follow some of their ideas.

I'm not right-wing though, not by any means. I'm told that I'm sort of in-between, which is good I suppose: balance is a good thing.

I would call myself a liberal conservative. I hope you don't mind me going really in depth into Canadian politics and stuff, but I really do find that my own beliefs fall right in with Canada's. For example Canada's first Prime Minister formed the Liberal Conservative Party, which was intended to include Protestant and Catholic, Liberal and Conservative, and people of all different beliefs into one party, so that they could throw aside the constant fighting between Liberals and Conservatives that plagued the Old World. This is no longer the case in Canada, but the idea remains.

I think it was William Lyon MacKenzie King who said "Conscription if necessary, but not necessarily conscription." That my view on all political beliefs. I don't like everything about one party and it's leader in Canada, nor do very many people at all. I like one party on one thing, but not on another thing. Therefore I can't put myself into either "Liberal" or "Conservative." But I put down conservative because I don't want there to be huge spending on crappy foreign auto-makers like there is now. But keep in mind that Liberal is centre, and conservative is right, so therefore Liberal Conservative is centre right.

I'm an American. I get to choose what I believe in and constantly change my own labels how I choose.

Liberal on a lot of things, conservative on some other things.

Extremes are unhealthy. That's where all the psychopaths come from.

of course no one is completely restricted to one party's policies or leaders or leaders' policies, that would make them some kinda robot
