Conservatives: Do whats best for the greater good, but come down with a case of the stupids when it comes to executing their plans...

Liberals: Dont really do anything helpful, but they tell people what they wanna hear, thus tend to be popular...

When I ask Liberals why they hate Conservatives, they tend to always use Fox News as an example for their hatred. So I guess if we eliminated Fox News, people would stop hating Conservatives so much...
Hmm, the thread says which are you... so if someone says they are aliberal you have just insulted them...*Looks at screen name*... Ah, that explains it. Good day.
What he said. Your kinda just asking to pick a fight. Everyone gets all defensive about shit like that...politics meh.

To the second half of your post I'd say Fox news isn't even the worst part. I hate retards like Rush, Hannity, and all those crotchy old folks on the radio like them. They spew compelete nonsense most of the time. Hell if conservitives wanted to gain popularity they'd can those turds because all those people do is make all conservitives look like dicks.
I wouldn't limit your crosshairs to only conservatives. Partisans in general are ruining the political system in general. Look at Jon Stewart's Crossfire video
Oh your 100% right. It definitely comes from both sides. At least Jon Stewart makes fun of everyone though =p

Libertarian Imperialist

I basically think the government should go the f*** away in most areas, but that we should have a strong military and not be afraid to use it.

Fox is the only truly conservative major news network
if there were another I'm sure it would be hated just as much
I see no reason why a differing viewpoint should be hated in a business dominated by liberals
I can't say I support blantant lying in journalism. However, I feel like Fox is under a lot of pressure to deliver news and so would resort to underhanded techniques to keep up with the competition, though I can't say I approve of their actions.

It's really not the differing viewpoint that people hate about Fox. It's the fact that they actually lie about shit to make republicans look better. That and their infamous for making "typos" in their newscasts...the most recent one is of the republican who had an affair and they refer to him as a Democrat in all their type newsfeeds lol.

I really couldn't care less which networks support who (BBCA ftw!) but still Fox just does retardedly obvious things.

I don't think I could be either considering I overthink the flaws of both, and all other, sides and end up hating them all.

I like Stewart. Recently it seems like when he can't make a point or is proven wrong, he resorts to stinging personal remarks, like with Gingrich (sorry I can't spell this late) and thus I have moved on to Colbert, who, when stumps, makes an awkward face and keeps up with his act.

Lets be perfectly honest though, if you ever need proof that an opinion can be wrong just look at Bill O'... It isnt so much an opinion when they are saying it is the news... its just lies.

And yes I do like Keith Olbermann, I think he is funny and he actually gives proof rather than expecting his word to be enough... I just dont find Bill O's insanity and anger funny, he is just the news world equivalent of a bully and he is Foxs most viewed?! Maybe thats why conservatives look like such massive d*cks?

You could most likely label me as a Conservative-Militaristic-Fascist.
Because I like combining labels.

I put Other. I'm a Libertarian.

Libertarian: A believer in a political doctrine that emphasises individual liberty and a lack of governmental regulation and oversight both in matters of the economy ('free market') and in personal behavior where no one's rights are being violated or threatened.
That's exactly what I believe in!!! I'm changing my answer to that

Bill's insanity and anger are what make him the inspiration for Colbert. As for Conservatives having a bad rap, that started back in the fifties, when Southern Democrats switched sides and turned the Conservative party into hate spewing, intolerant bigots and religious fanatics. For a great look at the ridiculousness of the current news generation, look up "What We Call the News" on www.jibjab.com

I'm definitely a moderate/centrist. The ideas of liberal and conversative are necessary, but the degree to which the US is split by bipartisanism is really bad for the country.

According to one of those online test chart things, I'm a moderate liberal populist (go figure...).

I can't entirely tell exactly what I am on the political perspective but I like to think of myself as a moderate although everytime I express my views on something the person I happen to be having a conversation with points and calls me a republican :\

Well okay I may sympathize with republicans more although they been nothing but a grand disappointment for the last several years, however I firmly find that at the very least they're getting a few things right, even if those things are really just general majority beliefs and not policy...

To some incredibly small degrees I have to agree with liberals on a few things like say... homosexuals and marriage. While I do hold a belief that the word "marriage" is one reserved for religious purposes I don't believe the rights that go along with said word should be withheld from people of differing sexual preferences because honestly, I had a friend who made the point that two men can love each other just as much, moreso even than a man loves a woman and we don't really have any right to deny them happiness.

I could go on all night but I need sleep for a rather long trip.

I'm more or less completely conservative, especially when it comes to nationalism or economic theories.

I'm a conservative, I love Bill O'Reilly, and Rush, and Hannity, Glenn Beck and Fox news. I don't know why you people always say they lie. It has been proven several times that the mainstream media have a liberal bias, yet they all lie and say they don't.

I tend to be conservative but I come from a long line of liberals, I consider myself a hybrid.

The trouble is that the extremes on both sides ruin the primary message for each group. Liberals make it their mission to annoy the public to no end with their "save the environment, man" and "the government is bad - unless its giving us money!" crap, whereas the right shows its "religious piety" by bombing abortion clinics and hating on homosexuals.

These were the intended goals of each faction by the end of the nineteenth century, before it became tainted by partisan bull:

Liberal - One who would advocate universal freedom and individual liberty, with emphasis on a free market economy and guaranteed civil liberties. Looks to a large, bureaucratic government to ensure one man cannot become too corrupt.

Conservative - One who would advocate a return to "simpler" times with fewer problems, but less civil liberties. Freedom is ensured by a smaller government designed only to protect its citizenry. Apart from providing a common defense, the goverment does not intervene in an individual's private life.

OT: I'm a moderate

Other

I am moderate, Ill just list out my stance on some issues

Iraq War: I think we shouldent have gone in the first place, but we are there now and we must finish the job.

Abortion: I dont like it, but the goverment shouldent have say here, except for a ban against partial birth abortions, except for certain circumstances,

Immigration: Yes on Legal, No on Illegal, amnesty for anyone here, if they pay taxes, and get naturalized and documented.

Gay Marriage: I dont care for it, but the goverment shouldent have say here.

Global Warming: I am not convinced it is manmade, but we should take some steps just to be safe.

Nuclear Power: Yes, we need it it, its clean and its efficient

Affirmative Action: Fuck It

Gun Control: Less regulation because gun control dosent work in the first place, but I do think that automatic weapons dont need to be in the hands of civilians.
