New Divide was pretty much "What I've Done" with new lyrics and a not-so-flashy guitar riff pasted over it. The chord progression and drum beat was almost exactly the same.

I enjoyed their meteora album. The others weren't so good. Minutes to midnight was a step in the wrong direction, despite what they said on their little piece of paper that came with the album.

I agree with you fully here. Some would argue that the band was just trying something new, but in all honesty Minutes sounded like their way of giving up and going with the flow. It didn't have anything fresh or unusual sounding, it sounded to me like a quieter style of emo rock. You know, AFI minus the energy. Their previous rock/rap style was something new and alien to me, and after Meteora they seemed to fade into the mainstream. Oh, and then they sold their souls to Michael Bay.

Linkin Park got famous for Nu Metal, they move to a genre they don't do, so why did they? I don't know.

So i doubt the new stuff will be any good, unless they have moved back to Nu Metal.

Only song I liked off MTM was What I've done. Rest was shit. Especially bleed it out

If i`m not mistaken re-animation was the second album right? which was hybrid theory remixed thus they are exactly the same(almost)

OT:I reckon it will be rather shit ,especially if that new divide song is anything to go by

going back off topic: anyone heard the new megadeth single? sounded like an improvement over united abominations to me
