In my opinion, it should be ported to all consoles.

From a buisness standpoint, at least, it'll make more money, so the possabilty is there at least.
I dunno. How many people would pay for a severely graphically scaled back 2D platformer with no editor? Because if you try to make it multiplat, thats what you get.
Hm, that's a good point, and I'll have to agree with you.

This is just a guess, but other companies probably shrugged it off, but Sony made the smart move to pounce. I think people should go to work, earn some money, and buy another console.

No, it should not be ported to any console, nor can it be ported to any console as it is published by Sony and Media Molecule founder Mark Haley/Alex Evans him/themselves have stated that it is impossible to port it on the 360 because of lack of a harddrive as standard.

If you've ever said "The PS3 has no good games!" or seen someone say it, then this argument is basically the "MGS4 porting to 360!" only with LBP switched in with MGS4. Let the PS3 have it's games, and deal with your own.

Sorry if I sound pissy, it's just annoying when people want a game that's exclusive to one console go over to their console (this is more noticable with people begging for PS3 games for some reason) and they can't just let it go.

EDIT:

Hmm...Perhaps to the PC?

No port to PC on there? I couldn't cast my vote then. Seems like a great place for it.
I actually find those statement halarious, actually! :D

So you guys basically want a dumbed down verson of Gary's Mod that's intended for consoles anyway? I love LBP, but that's basically what it is, Garry's Mod for consoles.

I'm not trying to be a dick, I just find that funny.
THe PC doesn't need a simple modding tool for it, it has dozens of those already.
Yea, 360 fanboys always rant on about how the PS3 has horrible exclusives, then they complain about how said exclusives aren't being ported. If you guys hate them so much, why do you want them?

Port to everything.

Mind you, the PC version would do quite nicely, being the living epitome of modding.

Why not add the option to port to PSP? That one makes the most sense. It's actually a Sony product, and it can more than hold its own in the graphics department.
I think there is already a port for the PSP planed.
Well then I am a happy boy!

Seeing how Sony owns the IP to the game a PSP and PC port is not only more likely but would be a great move. PC games are already known to have great freedom when it comes to mods and level designs, think how cool it be for people to make skins for Sockboy themselves except for us having to wait on Sony.

Since this is a Hypothetical scenario, I´ll say that "LBP" should be ported to the DS (at least that would be interesting).

Of course there is no way LBP will show up in a non Sony console, not because of hardware limitations, but because "LBP" is Sony´s intellectual property, so unless Media Molecule pulls an "Adventure Island" that is not possible. As for PCs, I think Sony would prefer to sell the "$600" PS3, than the actual game (the same way Microsoft doesn´t want "Halo 3" or "Gears of War 2" ported to PC).

I voted all. And before you lynch me, I have a theory.

I figure fanboys go crazy about exclusives and the such. If no console has an exclusive, they'll eventually die out.

Well, actually, I just believe that everyone will be happy with what they bought/were given when there aren't any exclusives, does that make sense?

Considering that Sony is the living antithesis of modding, it would cancel out.

Sony published it so who cares. it will never see the light of day on any other system buy PS3. The argument is pointless and lame.
