I had my first in recent memory after coming across a way to actively make them happen. They're awesome. Even just walking around in your own subconscious is fun. let alone flying or apparating people and asking them questions.

I try to turn them into sexy dreams, but my subconcious hates me and makes bad things happen, however I have rewound a dream before, but I usually wake up before the good stuff I'm thinking happens :(

A lot of the answers here are going to be yes. Research shows the gamers lucid dream more often, because we are use to interacting with a peculiar reality and taking control of it.

My problem is that I sometimes become lucid enough to know that I am dreaming, yet for some reason I am unable to gain total control. Sometimes it will be like I've activated some sort of god mode, I can stop bullets with my brain and fly, but usually I'm just trapped in a literal psychological thriller.

It does happen every once in a while, usually while I'm napping or half-sleeping between snooze button smashes. It's neat!

Never, not one. I want to fly GODDAMIT.

I have however have woken up, been intirely conscious but been able to move for a few minutes, really scarey.

Now and then.
It's usually too confusing to keep track of.
A dreaming mind is medically insane anyway, so no loss.

I always upon realizing I'm dreaming start guiding the story, and as a result everything becomes to perfect to be real and I end up waking up.

To clarify my subconscious mind will lead the story in a way I can't distinguish from reality, no matter the story (zombies, girls, school, whatever), my conscious mind starts letting things go my way, that causes a disconnect and everything unravels till I wake up. That is usually followed by a few moments that feel like 10s of minutes of sleep paralysis, where you try to move and can't for what ever reason.

Doesn't happen very often thou.

You know those embarrassing dreams where you're somewhere very important, but then you find you aren't wearing pants? My first and only no-pants dream so far was also my first and only lucid dream.

I dreamed I was heading for a job interview and my sister was taking me because I don't drive. The thing was, I wasn't wearing pants and so I wanted to go back inside and get some, but sis was all like "NO TIME!" and I was all like "but...". Then, next thing I knew, I was in the middle of the job interview and it wasn't going well. And the lack of pants wasn't helping. But I thought to myself "Ah no sweat. I saved a while back. I'll just reload the game from save point." And lo and behold, I was suddenly back home, with my sister telling me to hurry up because of my job interview.

It was awesome.

I actually have cool dreams all the time and had begun keeping a dream journal. Over time, I was less and less of a participant and more of an observer. I would dream I'm watching a movie, YouTube, or reading a manga, and the actual dream part would be what was being played/read.

i wish i could have them every night, but for some reason my control is... limited. like i'm only able to move and make myself unable to die or experience pain, but other than that, if i try to move, i move REALLY slow, and when i try to do something supernatural, suddenly i'm operating by real-world physics.

it especially sucks when i'm lucid dreaming and there's something horrifying going on. when i try to fight the horrors, i seem to have jelly limbs.

yeah, my lucid dreams are like horrible video games

After having an Alien movie marathon, the first three and too much time playing AvP 2 with friends. I had a lucid Alien's dream basicly.... If I didnt have claustrophobia then I think I may have bits of it now, crammed into vents and sewer pipes alone with barely enough of anything to defend myself with was way scarier then I thought.

I remember all of it, but during the dream I never did realise it was a dream. I had control and all but I didnt know. Let's just say that when I woke up I was fairly panicked before I realised it was a dream and... Uneasily went back to sleep again.

I don't recall anything when I'm asleep.
But my imaginatyion is good enough to have lucid daydreams.

I've had several semi-lucid dreams. I'd be having many more by now but I've never motivated myself to do what it would take to improve my dream recall.

Also, I never had any lucid dreams before actively trying to attain them, my only lucid dreams came from effort I did put into it.

I dreamed that I could breathe underwater, and the world was flooded, or else I just dreamed that everyone could fly. Don't really know which it was but both are awesome.

If I have, it would have to have been when I didn't know such a thing existed. So, if I have, then I've forgotten by now. Most of my dreams are normal enough that I doubt I'd question the realism of them.

One of my dreams last night was a combination of mine sweeper and roller coaster tycoon; I had to build my park on a mine field. Not terribly strange.

Yes although I was unable to stay in the dream for long, I always wake up shortly after I become lucid.

three times in my life.

They were all rather boring after I figured it out, because i just started wrecking shit in my mind. My Mind was probably scared of me, cause I didnt have any dreams for two years after the last one (when I was 15).

I rarely remember my dreams so I don't think I have... though that's probably for the best, from what my girlfriend says I'm like when I sleep.

I had a terribly stupid lucid dream once.
Spent three "days" flying around the world destroying Spatulas, knew exactly what I was doing, and controlled the whole thing. (I was trying to test the limits of the stupidity I could try)

And then I woke up, and a phone was ringing in my ear....something about spatulas, I don't know.

and then I woke Up, and I was entirely confused as to what just happened, so I got up and walked to the door....

AND THEN I woke up, AND I WAS PISSED!
Fucking subconscious.

I apparently created a lucid dream within a dream within a dream....
I lived inception, I have won the dream game.
