Poll: Major Kudos To Infinity Ward

This is just my opinion but I really respect how Infinity Ward makes their games. While other game developers stick with the same 'safe' games, Infinity Ward is pushing how far a video game can go. This has been seen with all the controversy on the airport scene from Modern Warfare 2.
So here's the question dear Escapist, do you agree with my opinion? Or are you on the opposite side of the spectrum saying, "Infinity Ward is just churning out remake after remake of old Call of Duty favorites,"?
BTW, my name is the same as my xbox live gamertag, which I did aquire through CoD4, but no, that does not make me a Infinity Ward fanboy.

Well I could tell you support them just from your name. But whatever, I'm not that bothered to be honest. I'm not as fanatical as the sheep from my school seem to be.

I can't pick any answer. Yeah, I think they're pushing boundaries, but I don't think they're anything special.

But, to be honest, my opinion of CoD players has been lowered due to MW2, and I never really had an opinion of IW.

OT: Yes they make good games, im glad we get to play as the baddies, very few gamea allow that sort of thing. Games are becoming more and more of an art form like cinema.

I liked CoD 2+3, 4 was alright but them multiplayer got boring fast; I fail to see how they innovated in this game so Im not excited at all.

Seing as your name is All Ghillied Up aka the sniper mission from CoD4, i suspect that your a complete fanboy. And no, they arent pushing the limit, their staring completely in their safe zone. The airport mission does pus it a bit but thats not inovative, thats just reinforcing the story and they know they can do it because they have leagons of fans *cough*you*cough*.

When I got Tekken 6, I love it but I only mentioned it 4-5 times at the most, not 10 times daily with MW2. If only MW2 will be shit so I can laugh at depressed and teary-eyed fanboys.

I was neutral towards Infinity Ward, until I heard that they're dissabling party speak for the multiplayer on Modern Warfare 2, which means that I won't be able to talk to my friends (who've been drooling over this game for months). The party feature is one of xbox live's biggest strongpoints, because it gives live a powerful social aspect, but you're so concerned with a minor improvement to gameplay you got rid of it.

So, Infinity Ward, if by some chance you're listening, I'd just like you to know that you can go and fuck yourselves.

Not really. They've overhyped their game because they know it appeals as much to the 'no brainer' FIFA market as much as it does to the gamers who actually enjoy FPSs. And their churning out of World War 2 after World War 2 game beforehand makes me less than impressed.

When they start making Valve/Double Fine innovations, I will start being impressed.

Still getting CoD MW2 though, looks very fun.

I was expecting lame CoD fanboys, but instead I found lame PC fanboys. Odd.
I stopped caring really at CoD2 since that was the last one that didnt have crappy perks that ruined the game. (Not counting 3, since that was Treyarch's last one before crappy perks)
