I couldn't nuke that base fast enough. Everybody thought the Reaper IFF was harmless up until the crew got Collected, and I'm supposed to trust an entire space station full of the same tech? No way.

Besides, I think my Shepard wanted to make sure the Reapers understood that there's nothing they can build that she can't blow the fuck up.

This. Also, the Reapers have been doing this for several million years. They left behind the Citadel and the mass relays so that we would develop technology similiar to theirs. If we're to have any chance at destroying them, we'll have to do something they don't anticipate, and I don't think we can do that using the Reaper's own technology.

My paragon shep saved it in order to use the tech to save as many lives as possible.

I blew it to shit, because , well, have you seen the Terminator films? Advanced machinery always goes crazy. Plus, I hate the Illusive Man. Bastard tricked me once too often. Cool eyes though.

I pesonally didn't trust The Elusive Man. So I blow the shit of that base with my crue intact without remorse or doubt about what was next because I did a lot of missions putting Cerberus first in front of my decisions against the Alliances matters. Plus that Fucker set me up tons of time. There was something about those eyes, give me the chills. What I saw in that base was one of the reason on why I decided to destroy the the base, that monstr made out of humans beside giving the base could've backfired giving the fact that the Reapers are coming and You didn't really knows if that base was going to be re-taken with the rest of that abomination. Anyways one less enemy base is fine with me. Besides, destroying the Collectors base would be good in the eyes of the Alliance and for ME3 you'll need back up and I think.
