Wow, I'm honestly surprised to hear you've heard that a lot. Personally I could understand Ashley's apprehensiveness towards aliens due to her past, and how her family was treated because of past actions. And for that matter, depending on the choices made when speaking to her, her attitude towards aliens can really turn around, she develops as a character. I see nothing wrong with being interested in that.

I tried romance in Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Both games just aren't giving it to me when it comes to the le sex part.

I think it's interesting. I don't know, if it were executed like the dating in GTAIV I might go for it, as long as they don't throw bitchfits at me when I don't want to go play darts for the 9999th time.

As long as they don't go into the wrong places with it, I would be all for it. ME2 was much better than ME1 in the romance department, but it still kind of felt like the romance was a separate part of the experience, somehow not integrated into the story as a whole. Maybe this could fix that.

I'd buy it if they fill it with good writing and the subtle humour the rest of the game shines with. It's the perfect setup, especially on the alien romances where a date could become an awkward trial and error for dining preferences or social etiquette.

I want more Tali romance because I'm a nerd like that. Romance in gaming has always been an awesome decision to me, and I can't help but choose Tali every single time I play ME2. An expanded romance storyline with more dialogue would be awesome, so awesome that I may pay... actually, I could YouTube search everything. So no, I guess I wouldn't. But if YouTube didn't exist and the script was decent, then yeah.
