The only reason they bring you back is because they're mostly hoping to have you on their side.
That's the reason why the Illusive Man even gives you all that stuff, help, etc.
He's trying to win you over.
If I hadn't played the first game, it would have worked, but they did a lot of fucked up stuff in the first one.
And I mean a lot.
The people of the System Alliance can at least sleep with a clear conscience.

no way in hell did i trust them. I had done all the cerbures side missions in ME1 and i knew what they were known for doing. Granted i am gratefull for them reviving me and all buti didn't like them from the get go.

Not at all, I was sure by the end of the game you would have to kill a bunch of Cerberus guys, or at least Shepard would stop answering to Cerberus for good.

I can kinda predict what the unanimous answer will be. Personally, I made an effort to jam my middle finger up Cerberus' ass. I wouldn't trust the Illusive Man if he was voiced by Morgan Freeman and had my mother's face.

Cerberus was responsible for the death of my teammates on Akuze when they decided it would be a good idea to sacrifice the lives of a few Alliance soldiers just to study the Thresher Maw. This only happens if you have the Sole Survivor background, and since that was the background I had... my Shepard had little reason to warm up to Cerberus despite them bringing him back.

Illusive Man is an idealistic fool who accuses everyone that disagrees with him as being idealistic, except himself.

I have nothing against their loyalties to the human race, but I take issue on how lightly they take any living being.
