One almost made me cry when I saw them live in May, so One it is.
Master was pretty kick ass as well, but when 20,000 people grab their lighters simultaneously and sing along for 8 (?) minutes, you know it's a good song.

I like bands that want me to listen to their music.

I'm going to have to go for Seasons in the abyss. Or Raining blood. Or Hangar 18. Or Cowboys From hell. Or Souls of Black. Or Among The living. Or I am the law.

You see where I'm going? With the non retarded bands and actual good songs that have decent riffs, instead of a good intro and a good solo and nothing else?

PS : St anger was the best fucking comedy metal album I've listened to, and some kind of monster is up there with This is spinal tap.

I don't like Master of Puppets... but those two are universally the best? Not my opinion, but hell...

So i choose One. But only because there are only two options.

Master of Puppets easily.
It didn't have James trying to sing, it had a fantastic rift, incrediable Bass, Guitar, and Drums, and amazing lyrics.
On top of that, its also their Greatest album, right before Kill em All.

Edit: For some stragne reason, I keep thinking of all the little kids, voting for One.....
Do I need to explain why?

As a drummer, I appreciate the drums to One far more than Master of Puppets. That isn't taking anything away from MoP, it's a fantastic song. I voted One.

One is excellent musically, but the lyrics are just so damned depressing. So Master of Puppets wins in this case.

I did not think any of their songs after the Master Of Puppets album were as good as what was before that. I did not really like One. But I loved Master Of Puppets.

Master's Intro can keep the song in my head for weeks, althought One is musically better, I prefer the Chugging sound of Master's guitar.

I'm gonna go for MoP mainly cus its the song I've heard most, as that album often get a few spins on repeat, opposed to AJFA, which is imo a little bit too "we can make a solo"-ish.

And yes, One is gonna get alot of votes thanks to GH3, but well, that just made me move further away from the song, I've heard that very very long melodic intro so many times just to be killed off by that darned solo (im no master at GH at all, but its fun).

Still their best songs imo is The Thing That Should Not Be, Nothing Else Matters and The Day That Never Comes (Its the modern One really, and the video is the best ever made, ever).
