So here it is: I wasn't really interested by WoW anymore(having played TOR for a while and thinking that I'd never get past the lack of voice-over and decisions in WoW).

Now though, I've seen some stuff and I kind of want to start playing again, especially with the expansion that would allow me to "start anew" on my main.

I haven't played the beta but from what I've seen, it looks like it's a nice expansion (and I did try the new mage gameplay for a bit on a friend's account and decided it was awesome).

So, should I or should I not pay for my subscription again?

It depends on how much extra money you have. If you can afford it without it cutting into anything and if you have the time for it then yes. To me it sounds like you want it just by reading your post so go for it.

Yeah. New content's good. I'm more busy levelling a monk myself. But I tried the Jade Forest and I really enjoyed questing. It was quite immersive...despite...a lot of people being present. Eitherway, that might not be your thing. What you can always do is wait until they put up a free try Mists and check it out then. They did that with Cataclysm, so maybe they'll do that with Mists too.

Other than that, from what I've seen of the quests so far. They have a massive war feel to them. Sadly, due to the fact that I've only skimmed the first quests, I have no real experience on the matter further into the expansion.

If you've got the money, time and interest why not?

Personally I wont be going back however, there's just no draw for me. I'm not a fan of the aesthetics of the location, I don't care about the panda and their story, none of my friends are playing anymore, and I don't miss the gameplay mechanics.

If they'd been doing something interesting with the story or location I might be intrigued as a one-time lore buff. But the panda? Nah, don't care. Bye WOW, better luck next innevitable expansion a year or two from now.

This is what I've heard:
If you like WoW, you will like MoP.
If you don't, or don't any more, this won't change your mind.
Make of that what you will.

The first few weeks of a new expansion are the best in WoW. And oh so tempting!

Not sure. I'm on a scroll of revival from a friend who wants me to get back to WoW after a years absence. Took just a few hours before I got bored and started hating the awful community again. I don't think it's worth getting back into when I can play LOTRO instead.

Don't bother. So many things you could do instead, game or non-game related. Seriously, go skydiving for all I care, just don't play WoW.

I have yet to try it so I can't comment on the quality of this expansion but it seems to be a recurring thing. First month or two is amazing then things get stagnant as we wait months for new content.

I still love the game but after 7 years you kind of get bored. I'm still on the fence about getting this or not. Maybe wait for christmas.

If you have the time and money to invest in this ONE game and this one game ONLY, give it a shot. If you're only going to play casually, it's not worth the sub.

Guild Wars Twoooo.
I agree, but I would wait a few months before buying GW2. It's bloody fun but there's a few issues to be fixed at the moment.

WoW can be fun but the monthly subscription on top of episodic content just 100% kills it for me.

God the worst thing they could do at this point is reveal that Yogg Cthulu of the Thousand Tentacles is the end boss.

I'd probably have to at least watch the video.

I must say the 85-90 questing and leveling experience is just wonderful. Blizzard has truly mastered the art of storytelling through quests.

I don't play WoW and I don't play MMOs. My opinions don't really count (WoW players don't need me kicking down their club house door) but I'm going to post them anyways.

Mist of Panderia honestly looks like Blizzard's trying to sucker in younger kids by offering them a character type that looks just like Kung Fu Panda (MoP was anounced around the same time Kung Fu Panada was kind of popular).

My opinion, is that I have no desire to play it again. I'm kinda tempted by Guild Wars Two as I am hearing good things...

Oh, but, anyway, if you WANT to play it, buy it, and play it. Simple as that. What do you want to do?

But could they really have changed mages that much? I mean, I recall Arcane in Cata was so bloody easy. Three buttons and you could pull 10K DPs without a strain on your mana regardless of the situation, and even with less than stellar gear.

I'm enjoying my time in Pandaria, if that's any consolation to you. I've been playing since Vanilla, and whilst playing the game has become more routine than anything else, I'm genuinely enjoying the conflict between the Alliance and the Horde at the moment, and how the Pandarians are essentially forced to choose a faction.

Why would you? If you like story telling SWTOR is a better game. If you like a new combat system then Tera would be better. If you like PVP then there is GW2 and a newer questing system. If you miss the combat then there is D&D online or LoTR online. Spare the social aspect witch might be enough I don't know how many friends do you have in the game? For Gameplay and story reasons I can't think of a good reason, for social reasons if you have a lot of friends yeah go back.
