I enjoyed the experience alot but I just found that it didnt make a big enouph leap in design that would make me call it excellent, even though I am now addicted as hell.

Average, just another shooter to me. However I'm gonna mark it bad because it was overhyped and it's just the same crap over and over again, also IW trying to lower the standards of good multiplayer online for PC gives me the shits.

That was epic. Congratulations, you get an epic cookie.
[HEADING=1]A COOKIE 5000 MILES WIDE ENCRUSTED WITH ALIEN HEARTS AND THE RAREST DIAMONDS!!![/HEADING]
That cookie seems slightly threatening >,..,<

OT: Mewtwo was an exceptional game in my opinion (paid the extra $20 to get Hardened) but definately wasnt worth spending more money on it then the original price for the game itself IMO.

As everyones been saying:

Single-Player: Short but decent
Multi-Player: Pretty fun
Co-Op: Wait there was one? = forgettable

If anyone hasnt gotten the game, wait for the price to drop, its only been out for 8 days and Im pretty sure theres still a lot of bugs to fix, nontheless all the Dedicated Server Issues for PC (Own the PS3 version here) but thats not my forte', so I wont get into it.

Single Player:
Short but wonderful, left me shaking with adrenalin

Multiplayer:
Lots of fun but air support is ridiculously overpowered

Spec Ops:
Meh. Recycled missions only harder and with your buddy yelling at you.

Single-player: Short but fun
Multiplayer: Fun especially with friends and is pretty balanced if you have good reaction time
Co-op: is a ton of fun especially if you have mics and play with your best friends

I got it yesterday... i also finished it yesterday (5/6 hours). its really good, but super SUPER short, possibly even shorter than CoD4. im yet to give the multiplayer a real try but that looks pretty good too.

EDIT: 6 hours, 50 minutes. just found the stats screen.
does that include the special ops part?
It does not, just the campaign. Spec Ops is FAR more fun and do-able with a second player so thats gonna take me a while longer.

It was very fun. I enjoyed every bit of it, and I will not be done with it for a while. Welcome to the Escapist. Ignore the Troll outside and enjoy your stay!

i personally enjoyed it a lot, however, it doesn't deserve an excellent imo as the campaign, which is the whole point of the "2" aspect of modern warfare needed lengthening and more development - price going rogue and all the jet-setting around the world, made it seem too much in too little time.
it just needed a bit more pacing - plus some of the scripted dialogue was laughably forced and infantile, glaring example is when Price is going on about betrayed and having to trust some one first, never mind the whole history is a lie written by the victor speech.

but apart from that - absolutely love the game! :D

p.s. anyone want to complete some of the spec-ops on ps3? my psn: Vlad-X7

Killstreaks fucking suck. There, I said it.

They ruin the fun of the game, honestly. I can either dominate the entire match by camping on a roof until I get a chopper gunner, or I can play it like, y'know, a shooter... and get my ass handed to me by some random predator missile.

Fuck killstreaks.

It was an excellent game, even though it was somewhat short and the story was partly bullcrap.
Even the multiplayer(PC) part was excellent even though it was like a man without arms running, he may be able to run and all but if there is an obstacle(cheaters, be able to chose map) he is screwed unless he get robotic arms(a crack or something).

I bought the PC version and I love it, the absens of dedicated servers and mods is a little disapointing but the polish of the rest of the game more than makes up for it.

I've been playing it fairly regularly for the past week and haven't seen any bugs. It's fairly well polished. My only bad experiences usually revolve around a week connection which can cause your character to move like a piece on a boardgame.

As for the Single Player Campaign, I found it to be quite fun, almost like an interactive Jerry Brachiemer movie. Hell,
The Green Smoke Scene and the Shower Hall Breach are taken straight from The Rock.
Sure, it's not the most realistic experience, but you don't play some of these games for "realism sake." You play them because you find them fun.

As one of the approximatly 12% of MW2 owners who have it on PC, I must say that the single player despite its shortness is the best I've played in two years, but the multiplayer feels like nothing special, and really feels like it lacks that extra kick which usually justifies the hassle of opening Steam and initial installations as opposed to popping it in the 360. Yet to try Spec Ops.

Overrated. A terribly short campaign, going fom one unlikely situation to another, outdated gameplay and unbalanced online which relies on perks and equipement instead of player skill.

Most of the complaints I see are from people who need there hands held through a story ("I don't get it! It wasn't spelled-out for me! I don't want to figure things out on my own!") or people who refuse to carry launchers to shoot down choppers in MP.

Great game, though not everyone's cup-o-tea. 9/10.
