What I learned from this site, is that This forum isn't a reliable site for discussing CoD games.
I'm a fan of the old games, But I am boycutting this one, why? Because it's a repacking of MW2 basically, I want to see the story come to an end, but not through playing, I'd rather read a synopsis, then I don't need to play it.
The killing blow for me was in a recent interview with the lead designer I belive from IW he was asked the very simple question :"Whats new in the game" and he was dumbstruck for a few seconds before adding "The story will be concluded and We've worked alot on the Spec Ops (co-op) missions" Thats not enough, sorry, but no, If CoD is going to redeem itself in any way, it has to reinvent the wheel basically.
I do however hope I can play the Spec Ops at a friends house or something, they are hallarious with a friend, but I don't want to pay for the whole game and give Activision more money than necessary because of 1 good aspect of the game.
But, on the MW3/CoD /BF3, I'm hoping BF would come out on top, But as last year when people was trying to compare MW2 to BFBC2, IT makes no sense, the games are radically diffrent, I enjoy my fast paced gameplay in CoD, but sometimes, I just want to be on the edge of a massive map with a sniper rifle picking them off as my prey. None of the two games can honestly say they have satisfied both of these feelings for me. CoD does frantic highly energitic games best, where BF just do slow tactical movement and hyped up tank battles best.
