All Fantards are equally annoying. I don't use the term fan boy as fan boy's can sometimes be reasoned with and are not always raging idiots. They can be fan boys and still be respectable people to talk to. Fantard is a far more fitting description of those annoying people who cannot be reasoned with and wont STFU.
Remember:
Fan boy- can be obsessed or avidly appreciate something, but is respectable and can accept criticsm and tolerant of other peoples views.
Fantard- an idiot that cannot be reasoned with and believes their opinion if the only one that matters. Will never shut up about how great their affinity for *insert game* is.

Any console fanboy there are good games all systems and there's no reason to just like one console

What will become of your consoles when the new models come around? I doubt anyone will be doing a game on 2 consoles, exactly the same (name-wise), but one weaker than the other. That's like releasing a game for both Playstation and Playstation 2.
FPS fans,from the ones I met they put any game down that does not have at least 5 police officers worth of blood on the screen. I remember a couple of them once said I was 'unmanly' for liking legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time as it was "unrealistic." Ok so you wont see an elf kid running around picking up treasure, but neither will you see a space marine going around blasting alien midgets with supercharged plasma which is blue for some reason.
While I'm also a self hating fangirl...cautiously conservative in my lameness when watching anime or playing my favorite video games I'm afraid the fratboy Console tards got nothing on us.
Although sweaty convention cosplayers Might get a few legs over them too...

Fanboys are annoying. No matter what system or game they are fanboys of, they are annoying. (Note: I am a slight fanboy, but only in the sense that I am a fan, not a "hardcore Fan" like those who ***** and moan about something mediocre like what console FF13 is coming out on, the fact that the actor (Chatwin as Goku) on Dragonball evolution wasn't asian* or which console is better)
*Sorry to say this, but Goku was never asian, I don't care if it's japanese animation, the only Japanese character in Dragonball is Yajirobe (notice the eyes) and skin color. Plus anyway Goku is an alien so complaining about it makes them double idiots.

But I guess that's mosty because I think the FF games are so bad they don't deserve fans (personal opinion, you're entitled to yours, I'm entitled to mine).
All fans can do "their thing" as long as they leave me out of it. I'm not gonna try and make anyone understand my love for blood spewing splatter movies, they can stay the hell away from me with their "awesome games" and explanations of why said games are so "awesome".
But I guess that's mosty because I think the FF games are so bad they don't deserve fans (personal opinion, you're entitled to yours, I'm entitled to mine).

None of the above. I like all fanboyism. How else would I know that what I am playing is lame, and should switch to a far superior product. We should all be thankful for fanboys in the future, because they are doing our countries a service by directing our attentions to things much greater!

In regard to the wii fanboys, every single one of them I know has admitted that they've been pretty dissapointed by its software line up for over a year now. can't blame them.
