Likely PC fanboys. I'll admit its superior in many ways, but don't you dare take that tone with me, young man/lady!

I really hate PS3 fanboys, because they're always so eager to prove that they have games on their system, something that is not actually that hard to do, but my vote had to go with Final Fantasy fanboys. Final Fantasy II is oddly enough, one of the only JRPGs I've ever liked, but I hate the rest of the games. JRPG fanboys in general are pretty awful because they can go on and on about how awesome they are, and:

1. Never actually give a good reason why they're good.
2. Neglect to mention grinding that would make a fan of WoW cringe.

The Halo fans, undoubtedly, are the most annoying. Because if you say anything bad about the series, like how a certain weapon needed a certain tweak or that you don't like that some weapons are still not in matchmaking multiplayer (Fire Bombs, (finally) Fuel Rod Gun, Cloaking), they'll flip out at you and bite your head off with their insurmountable idiot non-logic.

1. Give me a good reason why FPS are good.

2. JRPGs haven't had grinding since SNES and not so much even then. It won't hurt to get couple extra levels every now and then, but if you actually start grinding in your average JRPG you just have an too easy rest of the game.

1. What do FPSs being bad or good have to do with anything?

2. You obviously don't play JRPGs very much.

1. Try to articulate the charm of an entire genre into neat little package. Go on, try.

2. I do, and it's about 1 in 4 of the games I need to grind at all. As long as I don't try to run through the game as fast as I can.

Final Fantasy. What's bad about this is that I'm a Final Fantasy fan. Yes, I'm disgusted by fans of the same group. It's probably because of the extreme FFVII fans. Sure, it was a good game, but so many fans have taken it too far.
Agreed. And I wish they never released "sequels" or whatever you want to call them, like Advent Children, Crisis Core, etc. It was a good game with a good story, leave it at that.
Did you even play Crisis Core? It was great. True for AC though.
No I can't say I have. I'm not saying it's a bad game (obviously I wouldn't know). Heck, I believe you when you say it was great. I just don't like when they make sequels to a Final Fantasy game. I feel like it should be a complete story on it's own. Just my opinion. Of course if I had a PSP I'd probably buy it.
