RPGS and Racing games.

RPGS because I find them boring and can never get into them.

Racing games because, well I'm going to be honest I hate them because I just plain suck at them. Also even if I was good at them, I would still hate them, because I just don't find cars all that interesting.

Sports because
1.I don't like sports
2.Why don't you go outside and play a real sport instead of a game.

Sports for 2 main reasons.
One is that every year, the same game is rereleased, regardless of what sport it is; basketball, baseball, football, hockey... you name it. Sure they change the stats and teams, and may add new gameplay modes, but it's still the same repetitive gameplay as the year before.
Two is (a less valid point) that EA is the king of sports games today, popping out like 10 a year. And I hate EA.

Any game with this fighthing system in it:

Sorry but that fight system is brilliant, it allows loads of customization and takes a lot of tactics and skill to win, also turn based fighting isn't the point of the JRPG genre, the story is.

I don't care. I find it boring and repetitive. The best game which involved that style of combat, but used interaction was Tales of Symphonia:

It's quintesentially the same system, but alot more interactive. You move the character, defend, dodge, the lot. It's a struggle, it takes skill and I love every minute of it.

If you had JRPG up there I'd have hit it. It's not because of the turn base or the andro-males (though both certainly help it along) but the fact that all of the stories are exactly the god damn same. It's like having a space marine in a shooter. Screw that.
Anyone who says "All Jrpgs have the same story" are just plain wrong, here's a perfect example why:

Persona 4: Persona 4 takes place in the near-future, fictional, rural Japanese town of Inaba, which lies among floodplains and has its own high school and shopping districts. Unexplained murders have taken place in the small town, where bodies are found dangling among television antennas and their cause of death unknown. At the same time, rumor has begun to spread that watching a switched-off television set on rainy midnight's will reveal a person's soulmate. A group of high-school students decided to investigate the murders on their own, and discovered a fog-shrouded world accessed through television sets infested with monsters called Shadows. They also discovered each of their Other self, symbolizing their suppressed personalities. Confronting their Other selfs awakened their ability to summon beings known as Personas. Using Personas, the students formed the Investigation Team to investigate the connection between the TV world and the murders, and possibly capture the culprit...

Final Fantasy VII:Final Fantasy VII begins with Cloud joining AVALANCHE in a series of raids against the Mako reactors surrounding the city of Midgar. Although the first mission is successful, AVALANCHE is trapped at another reactor during a subsequent raid. The reactor explodes, launching Cloud from the upper levels of Midgar into the slums below. He lands on a flower bed, where he is formally introduced to Aeris. Prompted by the arrival of Shinra's Turks operatives sent to capture Aeris, Cloud agrees to be Aeris' bodyguard and defends her from the Turks. After the Shinra discover the location of AVALANCHE's hideout, they destroy it by demolishing the entirety of Sector 7, killing its population and three members of AVALANCHE. The Turks also capture Aeris, who is revealed to be the last surviving "Cetra", a race closely attuned with the planet and previously thought extinct. President Shinra believes Aeris can lead him to the "Promised Land", a mythical land of fertility, where he expects to find Mako energy...

Thats just the opening few hours of both those games, they are completely different.

I'm surprised so many people chose sports. I picked Racing. The only racing game I've ever really liked was Burnout:Revenge. And that I only really liked that because it wasn't as much about "racing" as it was "cause the most damage possible before you die as well."

Actually I have to thank you for making this post, because you reminded me of how good this game was and how much fun I had so now I'm DLing it to my 360.

So basically, you prefer skill over tactics? I can see your point but even if you don't like the turn-based combat in final fantasy games and others like them you should still play them because of their amazing story lines.

Western RPG's, Sports, and RTS's. I dislike them very much.
You are correct sir!
Although I have nothing against Western RPG's, I dislike RTS's. Some of them don't seem to require strategy at all, just a lot of patience. Which I don't have.

Wow, sports is really taking off. Surprising how many Madden games they've churned out considering. That said, yes, that's where my vote went too. They're generally games for non-gamers.

Sports. There are some good sports game which i do enjoy playing such as NBA Street 3 and Fifa street. But the rest, omg the rest. They are so boring and repetative. It makes me rage that they release the same game every year but with just a bigger number on the end of the title each time!
