I'm not a terribly huge fan of fighters, I don't understand how just beating people up without any reason is fun. I know that they have "stories" but the story is usually just ridiculous and doesn't warrant fighting the way that they do, for the shit going on in most of the stories it should be all out war with firearms and such.

I don't understand why ppl hate point and click adventure. They are like a book and you just need to turn the page to play.

That's probably part of the reason why a person might hate a point-and-click game. Most people playing a game will want to be constantly doing something, not just feeling like they're reading a book.

SPORTS. God people, games are about escapism. If you can do it in real life then DO IT.

ITT, surprisingly low amount of fanboy anger...

Personally, turned based combat just bores the fuck out of me.

Well, I picked Sports sims but I wouldn't say I hate them. It's just that I'm clearly not the intended audience there and neither are, I'd wager, the majority of users of this site.

I'd have to say most racing games are quite boring to me. The only racing game I'll play is something like Mario Kart.

Yeah, that should be a poll option.

Sports games. I liked Fifa 2003 (or something) then I realized I should just go find a soccer club or something. Playing a game about playing a game just isn't interesting.

Fighting games. Used to be the cat's ass for me. Lately I haven't liked them. Same reason as sports games. Just go join a judo club and you can actually fight and learn to fight three times a week.

If I let Rape simulaters be an option than every one would pick it! Except for some disgusting hell spawns whos only goal is to bring chaos, hate and war to this world.

I don't hate or dislike genre's, because I barely pay attention to genre labels. But if I hád to pick one (not counting rape simulators, I mean come on), I'd go for management games. I just can't see the fun in endless amounts of spreadsheets. What am I, at the office or something?

Why isn't sports on that list? I guess it doesn't matter though because this will not end well.
Because sports aren't video games. If your sitting on the couch with a controller in your hands controling someone else and having them do the sport for you then that's not a sport.
I think, and this is just a hunch, that he meant Sports Video Games.
Anywho, Point and Click is my most disliked genre. It doesnt really require any skill, its just rubbing every two objects together in the vague hope that it proves successful. Then using that on one of the few areas that seem to be able to do anything.
Well done, you can move on, Yey!

Hmm...it's hard to dismiss an entire genre altogether, but I feel racing games have the least to offer in terms of innovation and strategy. Even when they include some sort of item or power-up system (Mario-Kart stands out) it feels very broken.

Sports are a close second, but at least they have startegy insofar as much as whatever they're based on.

sport games
i mean every year the same game slightly upgraded visuals and the players names updated and mayby a few little things changing i hate them and also its hardly a sport why not play sport yourself. the only sport game ive ever liked was red card cause you just turn off the ref and super turbo kick other players in the nutts etc and u can play as a baboon. it was just fun and not serious.

if not sports i suppose racers or fighters (1vs1 not 1 vs many) i just get bored

Sports games. I mean really? Playing games you can go out and do yourself?

Admittedly, I've never been a fan of sports in general, and even a video game version of football is dull to me.
