For me, satisfaction comes more from the identity of the target than from the method of death-dealing. Still, I guess I'll go with the gang up.

I'm not one for subtlety and stealth, unless the situation demands it. I prefer just to wade in with my heavy weapons and lay waste to everything that moves. It's very satisfying to then stand in the middle of the field of devastation and observe the carnage you've caused.
I'm a Sniper (in games), the most satisfying thing in the [gaming] world, is a sniping stand off.
It used to happen quite often in the older generation of games, where Snipers where few and few between, a CTF match where the snipers from either team decide to screw defending the flag or base and go for each others blood, its like the fight with "the End", only a real life opponent.
edit: because of the secondary weapons a sniper normally has is pretty poor unless at point blank range you'd get both snipers trying to avoid battle at all cost's just to get into a sniping duel. Going so far as to allow a flag carrying opponent to run past providing it doesn't give away position.

To be honest I think sniper rifles take a lot of the fun out of shooters. Its infuriating getting shot by some camping dullard across the map. Also sniping is so boring, you sit....wait..... click. There's no action, no excitement and mopst importantly no chance to tea bag.
