Yeah, but the Survival pack will be available soon for free, which adds the other two maps to Versus and another game mode. I'm excited about the last two maps being added to Versus, but new ones would be even better.Syphonz said:all of the above.
The reason why I never bought L4D is because it felt shallow. essentially 2 modes; Online Co-op Campaign, and Versus. And Versus only covers 2 out the 4 campaigns! 2nd, Weapons, after the tier 1 weapon selection (Uzi, Shotgun) you have 3 others (Auto shotty, M-16, rifle) and thats it!
Its all so incomplete.. Like its an EA game or something, but less bugs.
If a griefer tried to block a door the other survivors would just be able to move him out of the way by walking into him. Multiple griefers working together could abuse that, but you're already pretty screwed against Team Roomba style team griefing the way things are now.runtheplacered said:Why would door blocking be unfeasible? Happens constantly in Counter-strike. And I mean constantly.Pumpkin_Eater said:That's the only term I've heard to describe it actually. Usually from a frustrated infected player and accompanied with some derogatory terms. Presumably with clipping you'd be able to push a fellow survivor, which would make door blocking unfeasible, you'd just have to put some limits on it, like not letting it push someone over a ledge.runtheplacered said:I'd love to see an end to "corner humping" (never heard it called that before) as well. But turning on clipping would probably present some new problems, particularly with people that are insuring that others have a bad time. I could just see some little punk standing in a doorway and blocking everyone from going forward, and then going AFK or some crap.Pumpkin_Eater said:Get rid of corner humping during finales and panic events. I don't really care how they do it, but it needs to happen. My best idea is adding clipping to the survivors so they can't all be standing inside each other melee spamming.
Surely there is some sort of a solution to this problem, though. The game was much more fun when everybody was a newbie and that sort of thing wasn't happening yet.
Unless there's an actual "push" button, but that'd really be abused to no end.
