It would be the law for me. The Police don't fuck around when it comes to murder investigations. Even if you kill someone, and get off for the next twenty years, living in peace and forgetting your case.

The police never forget and they make sure to bust you.

What stops other people? Not too sure. Maybe it's the law for them? Others, it could be a moral choice or religion.

Then again, if one were to take away the rules we'd relied on. It wouldn't be too long before humanity returned to its animalistic roots and start killing each other over the pettiest things.

Oops! Off topic. . . Anyway, if I could kill someone and get off scoot free. Then yes, I'd be more than happy to get rid of a certain manager I disliked for so long.

I currently don't have anyone in my life I would kill. There are people I hate, sure, but that doesn't give me the right to take their lives. Even if I did want to kill someone, the difficulty of the task, and the fact that I'll probably be caught if I did it, would stop me.

Sometime though I might just get some friends and guns together and raid one of those Neo-Nazi/White Supremacist camps and kill a bunch of 'em. It's okay though cause most of them have enough guns to give them a fighting chance, so when I win it's because I'm better than them. And they're dicks.
