Poll: Music, do you game with it playing?

Depends how immersive the game is. Or atleast how much the surrounding area makes an impact to the game itself. Forexample if im playing Skyrim or Deus Ex, then I have no music on. But if im just playing Terraria, mount and blade or Shogun 2 then I'll pop on a thrash album

Typically, my rule of thumb is if it's a hand-held, then absolutely, unless it has awesome music (like Phoenix Wright or something).

If it's a console, then no, unless it's becoming repeatiative and annoying because either the music is just that bad or I've been in the same place listening to the same loop for several hours.

It happens occassionally.

Generally for anything where either there's no story, or I've played through it before so I don't really care about the story.

No, it distracts me from my play and I usually want to hear every sound from the game.

I put my entire (respectably-sized) iTunes library on when playing multiplayer, generally.

Apparently U2's "Vertigo" is my theme song, since the shuffle really likes that song.
