Poll: My Little Pony, is it good?

I have hearded about it (and probably so did you)about the new cartoon, "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic", and at first I thought that people watched it for the lulz

But then I started to notice that people were actually into it.

After some research I found that it has a rating of 8.6 in IMDB, wich is quite good although there were only 6 reviews so it also looses a bit of credibility.

Since in this website people seem to enjoy the parodies of mixing dramatic trailers with footage from the series(I like them) and some people even have them as avatars I thought of asking to you what is the real deal about it.


EDIT: Where in the hell is my poll? It also took me a lot of time to the thread to go online, or at least to appear on the forums. Its not the first time this happens to me.

animation wise, fine.
intresting wise, definitly not for me, why? Because I have testicles.

Irony
or they actually WANT to watch it

I saw a bit of it on Youtube, and I was really suprised for the animation quality, it isnt mind blowing but it looks really nice. I was expecting lower

As a guy, I never actually PLAYED with any My Little Pony toys (I played with my heterosexual Transformers toys), but my sister loved them. And she watched the My Little Pony movie all the time... which meant I HAD to watch it too, as we only had one TV between the two of us at the time.

I can't say I LOVE it, but I have fond memories of the movie, if only because of this:

I watch it because it is actually really, really good. The characters are deep, the plot is always interesting, the dialog is hilarious. Some of the time it feels cheesy, like when you watch a children's movie and it strait up tells you the moral of the story.

overall it is just fantastic, I love every character, even the side characters. The brony community is the nicest community I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of. I recommend you let the idea of your testicles getting in the way of you enjoying this show slip away into the void.

I am a 20(almost 21, 7 more days) year old male. My friends and I love this show.

I totally got converted into this group a few weeks back xD..just finished the first 21 episodes, think that's all there is so far.

Indeed 21 is the most recent.

OT: personally I love the show. I really enjoy the character and I'm genuinely interested in the story for each episode. The story can be somewhat mediocre at some points but it usually remains at a pretty consistent rate of awesomeness.

Unless your talking about My little pony generation 1-3 in that case I don't know I've never seen it.

Well then, a few minutes in and its not bad but still not something I would watch (not because of many issues, it just didnt hold me yet).

I can't help but think a lot of it comes from Tara Strong. Also, it really seems like intentional parody a lot of the time.
