Poll: Naruto Shippuden comes to Disney XD

As much as I hate the Naruto anime, no anime deserves to be run through Disney or 4kids.

Um....soooo they aren`t going to show the first Naruto episodes.
how the hell are those who haven`t watched them ,know what is going on.
It would be like starting watching Lost in the middle of the season ( I am aware of that even if you watch from the beginning you might not know whats going ) or skip the two first lord of the rings movie then watch the last. You get the idea.

Those of us that are die hard anime fans wont care. I lost interest in Naruto ages ago and have long since moved on to better things.

I did not make a mistake nor am I playing a practical joke. Naruto Shippuden will be broadcast alongside such shows as Hannah Montana and The Suite Life. I thought nothing of it when they purchased Marvel because they already show Spiderman, X-men, X-men Evolution, and The Spectacular Spiderman. There was never any real interest in anime until now and I must question their first choice. I can only imagine the massive changes coming along with the series. Anyone who has seen Shippuden knows it anything but family friendly so what do you think about all this?

The series sucked already (Even the original japanese version beforet he otaku and fanboys jump me) It's fucking street fighter/dbz with perverts and kids!

Disney can only make it better as far as I am concerned as you can't make shat worse. Sure you can cover it in radiation, but I still am not going to accept it just as much as I didn't before XD

Possibly a stupid question but which Disney XD are we talking about here?
The UK Disney XD (rebranded from Jetix which in turn was rebranded from Fox Kids when Disney bought out all of Fox Family/Saban) already shows the original Naruto episodes in their dubbed and then butchered even further for UK broadcast form. It could potentially be that we're just talking about the UK, at any rate it'll still be Viz who produce the show itself since they're owned by Shueisha anyway.

Anyway it's annoying to see a show I enjoy given such shoddy treatment, but even if it got the best dub ever I wouldn't be interested. So whatever, I'll just go on watching the show in subtitled Japanese until I reach the point that I don't need to worry about the subtitled part.

I stopped watching naruto and bleach long ago. The Manga's pretty cool actually, I'd rather read it for 10 min than watch a 23 min episode

Dude, the voices are the EXACT same as before.

Let me explain to you how anime on tv works. A dubbing company, in this case, Viz Media, licenses a show from Japan, in this case Naruto. They now have control of distribution rights in North America. They then dub it and release it on dvd in select stores. The dubbing company can put their show on tv, if they negotiate a deal with a tv network. Any edits or dialogue is decided entirely by the dubbing company.

Chances are, they won't edit shit. Disney are some greedy bastards, but smart enough businessmen to know that with the fall of Cartoon Network, there's a market of Naruto fans (I'm talking about the young kids who don't know about subs and the internet) thirsty for their orange ninja. Any edits could jeopardize their hold, and thus threaten their wallets.

This isn't 4kids, man. You gotta realize that.

And besides, those pronunciations are all correct.
