Poll: Naruto Shippuden comes to Disney XD

man I keep thinking it's a joke. I didn't know that Disney "XD" was the name of the channel so every time someone mentions it I think they're joking and using the XD smiley face.

EDIT: Everyone concerned about a buyout can calm down. Disney didn't buy Viz Media or Shueisan. They're just leasing the english dub to the channel. I REPEAT, DISNEY DOES NOT OWN NARUTO.

I don't care because I read the manga online. To read it directly translated is to read it unneutered and the voices can't suck because their are none. See kids, Reading Rainbow was right, you can go anywhere and do anything with a book. When you read, Naruto in English doesn't suck horribly or have horribly stupid filler plots. Even better, Naruto becomes less preachy, which is great for everyone.

I did not make a mistake nor am I playing a practical joke. Naruto Shippuden will be broadcast alongside such shows as Hannah Montana and The Suite Life. I thought nothing of it when they purchased Marvel because they already show Spiderman, X-men, X-men Evolution, and The Spectacular Spiderman. There was never any real interest in anime until now and I must question their first choice. I can only imagine the massive changes coming along with the series. Anyone who has seen Shippuden knows it anything but family friendly so what do you think about all this?

The series sucked already (Even the original japanese version beforet he otaku and fanboys jump me) It's fucking street fighter/dbz with perverts and kids!

Disney can only make it better as far as I am concerned as you can't make shat worse. Sure you can cover it in radiation, but I still am not going to accept it just as much as I didn't before XD

i don't really care for 2 reasons. firstly i don't watch Disney DX and, secondly, i've been watching the subbed version for years and most likely it will be dubbed on XD. the original Naruto anime was murdered by the dubbed voices so i wouldn't watch it even if i could

I don't watch Naruto, I'm into darker anime......and Bleach. Yet this is wrong on so many levels.

I just can't wrap my head around this at all. Are Disney trying to establish a broader audience base? I am aware that a great percentage of people who watch Naruto are very young, young enough perhaps to still possibly enjoy watching shows like Zack and Cody, but seriously? Naruto can be pretty sinister, bloody, brutal even - I'm afraid certain elements of it may have to be altered to make it into more appropriate "Disney material".

Exactly. How does disney find a series about an angsty ninja boy who makes naked women appear out of nowhere and kill people child friendly? They'll probably replace all the blood with butterflies, the naked women with unicorns who shite rainbows, and the swords as magic wands.
