I hate anime - the over-the-top drama, unrealistic action, and oversexualization of female characters turns me off ridiculously fast.
Watched a little Dr. Who, never really got into it that much... it feels dated and while the characters were enjoyable, I felt like the plots from episode to episode were shit.
I don't see what people love about Zelda. I've never played a Zelda game except once for about 10 minutes. I didn't find it particularly fun or enjoyable, and have no clue why it's so big.
Same for pokemon. Maybe it's because I was raised without much in the way of games and didn't play pokemon when I was young, which means I don't have a nostalgia boner for it, but a few years back I grabbed an emulator and tried it. Played for 3 hours, kinda had fun, but got bored and quit.
In fact, this applies to a lot of popular game franchises.
I think WoD is retarded.
I fucking hate modern fantasy books/movies, and any DND past 2e. I love Tolkien (books only, movies were shit) and Robert Howard's Conan. Despite my love for Howard, I've read precious little Conan, and derived most of my love from the 1982 movie, the setting, and the prose.
I dislike Notch for being financially successful when Toady One (maker of Dwarf Fortress) is living in a small apartment with a minimalist lifestyle. I play Minecraft with extreme guilt. On a related note, although I will proclaim to my dying day that Dwarf Fortress is the best game ever made, I hardly ever play it anymore, despite having a rig that can handle it with ease. Maybe I'm just kinda burned out from having played it since the days of 40d?
