I would find it quite redundant to have multiple accounts. Its as bout as useful have having multiple empty beer cans that you cant shoot off a fence.

i'm sufficiently new to say, hell naw, i don't have many accounts. just reading how OVERLY STRICT are mods and how whiny are regulars made me hesitate on creating an account on the site... finally, beta keys won me over xD

(still afraid to make/read/post on threads... cuz goddamn... errbody gets their panties up in a bunch for nothing, and people get probations and bannings for ridiculous stuff... geez)

I've had several, though not for sock puppeting, or talking to myself, or even getting past a ban (I haven't been banned before).

I just have some sort of compulsion, or short attention span, and have a need to change every few months.

I always do go back to the old accounts and post every once in a while, but only when I feel like a change or need to show that I've been here for a while, in a thread like this perhaps.

In any case, it isn't for trolling or malicious reasons, it's just me being a spaz at life.

The big boom in members is from the holiday break.
People have more free time, and thus they are bored much easier.
I know that was the case for me. One afternoon, I just decided to sign up for an account here and see what the forums were like.
So embrace the new people. You can use spiky gloves if you really want.

Seeing as I joined the community 3 days ago, after discovering it 5 days ago and being hessitant at first.

Yathzee, totally won me over though.

And here I was hoping it was my delightful charm that made all the new members come over.

I guess it's not like that... everyone except you joined because of my charm
