This is evident in the song "Starships". I have chosen to show you all the chorus, because it is to the point. Annotations in bold.

But how does this work? You don't make any sense Evil Smurf, I hear you say. Simple, every time the song "Starships" is played it launches the hidden machine that Nicki Minaj has installed above the earth, and it makes a time portal. Wherein the actions that Nicki Minaj dictates to the people listening to the song, will help the people from the future fix the starships.

I love this so much.
See, that song was -alright- the first few times I heard it.
But being played about 1billion times every night in clubs in Magaluf resulted in me absolutely loathing it.
