So many things I knew wouldn't happen in that episode (because me and my mate had downloaded it specially to see it, we were up till 5am drinking and watching it, We were just devastated by the fact that we were watching the end...
But yeah like I was saying, plenty of things happened the way I knew it would.
JD didn't officially get that hug he was waiting for, but it was great to see Cox acknowledge him as the friend he is, The Janitor's name sceen didn't surprise me in a least, I was sitting there the entire time saying "He's gotta be lying, there's no way he'd actually tell the truth about himself that easily."
I thought it was amazing that throughout the episode it didn't feel like an end, it felt typically like an ordinary episode with a goodbye plot worked in, butwhen he finally strolled down that corridor it really sank in (Which me and my mate kept pausing to see who was there, we were shocked to see that Heather Graham wasn't involved in that sequence)
And as has been mentioned already, the family movie style foresight sequence was just fucking heart-warming, I was honestly moved, which to me is amazing, 8 seasons on and Scrubs is the only sitcom that warrants a reaction from me.
(my very first reaction was when JD and Elliot hooked up for the first time and I was like "IT SHOULD BE ME!!")
I'll never get to see anymore Elliot Reid... It's a sad time in Archemetis country...
Also, can I assume I wasn't the only one who thought "If they released The Book of Dr. Cox's Rants, I'd buy it."?
