Seriously, that's the impression I get from this. You complaining about the school punishing you for doing unnecessary things. Writing an essay about how the essay question has no depth is just plain stupid. Just answer the damn question. I imagine the person who complained about the teacher did so in a rude manner. And you're comment was completely unnecessary.
In the real world, you have to do what people in positions of power say.
