I watched the X-Play awards on G4 and I was throughly disappointed. This is the second time they have shown they don't know what they are talking about. Number 1: Assassin's Creed II was nominated in i believe 9 categories, possibly more. Out of those it didn't win a single time. That is BS because AC2 was freaking amazing. 2: I don't care how creative the Demon's Souls message leaving thing was, it was annoying and un-intuitive. 3: let me say this first. Uncharted 2 WAS NOT BAD, but even with the changes and additions it was still to boring to match Modern Warfare 2. The single biggest complaint in MW2 was that the story mode was sorta short, and that is barely even a complaint. This is almost as bad as when they named Fable 2 as the best. So in conclusion, screw X-Play.

G4's been going down hill since they merged with Tech TV.

Even shows like Xplay which used to be funny and unbiased, now suck and aren't funny at all.

They took off all the great shows and left us with 22 hours of nonstop Cops/Cheaters back to back until Attack of the Show comes on, which has always sucked, then X-play.

But I didn't know they gave Assassin's Creed 2 game of the year.

That was my choice anyway

I'd say none of them, Modern warfare whilst fun was too much of a kick in the balls for fans and prototype, also being very fun, just isnt quite up to the level of some other games partly due to the terribad plot and completely unlikable characters (the others I've not played yet so cant really comment on, although from what I've seen of them - still no).

Dragon Age.

To you maybe but to many others it is. If anything a truly great game has great multiplayer and single player. But that BS about ACII not getting anything is kind of surprizing.
