Poll: Now that the price drop/slim is official, do you want a PS3?

I already have a 360 and PC.. I don't dislike Sony (my LCD is a Sony), I just can't see the point spending $300+ for another console that doesn't really do anything new/different. There's.. blueray and maybe one or two exclusives, just isn't worth it IMO.

No, I was excited because it was actually affordable. Then I discovered the complete lack of backwards compatibility. That's a deal-breaker for me.

I want a PS3, seeing as the prices have been slashed on them. I'm hoping to get one for Christmas this year. They're £250 in my local Asda supermarket, and they include a game (Terminator: Salvation). Sure, it's meant to be a truly terrible game, but it's free.

If I do get a PS3, I don't want the Slim model. It looks pretty cheap IMO (no offense to those that like it). Plus, the fat model looks really great. It's shiny, and it looks great to me.

You're right and anyone who doesn't want a ps3 and doesn't have a reason shouldn't really be interested in the poll in the first place.

My polls aren't exactly scientific, I just like to goof around with them; look at some of my others. I thought I was pretty fair for the Nays: there's an option if you hate Sony for whatever reason, an option if your fiercely loyal to a competitor, another if it wouldn't be worth it for you to get one (it sounds like this would be the best for you and most of the other complaining about the poll: it basically indicates your apathy right now but that your mind might change if it was say $100 or $50), and a goofy luddite option. Even if I had another field to use, it probably would've mentioned backwards compatability.

This is the last justification for this poll (the first should've been enough) so I hope the rest of you are paying attention. If you're still not satisfied, click the little x in the corner and you don't have to participate.

I would but I currently have no interest in switching from my xbox to ps3. I can play all my wonderful ps2 titles on my ps2. The games I would end up playing on ps3 are on 360 save for resistance and mgs4 and I there is no need for me to have bluray because I don't intend on converting my movie collection to a new format anytime soon, especially since dvd prices are down thanks to bluray.

Also I am planning on buying it now. I was always a little bit hesitant because of the price and, for me, the small exclusives library that I would be interested in, but now that the price is dropping and I want a BluRay player anyway, I'm going to jump at this.

I should say with the price drop, everyone should now have at least enough money to buy one, and enjoy the exclusives that is has.
It is a great system, only downside is the updating takes too long for my tastes.

My ps2 gives me all the fun I need. And my 360 suffices. MY wii likes me and my Nes is the best.
