PC, mainly because that's the version of the game I have.

Also, I love modding PC games, some people have done some awesome stuff with games in the past, Oblivion is no different.

If I remember correctly, a bunch of features that were first added into Morrowwind by mods were added to Oblivion as part of the final game.

I believe lock-picking was one of the features first used in mods.

I like the style of lock picking in Oblivion, compared to Fallout's style.
That said, it was easier to fluke the harder locks on Fallout than the Xbox Oblivion one :p

What other DLC can you get for Oblivion so far?
I've only recently borrowed the game so I don't really know what's out there already.

PC, because of mods obviously, mouse and keyboard are superior for games like this in my opinion (you have tons of keys that can be binded for individual actions), and the graphics are nicer on a decent PC. Also, I seem the to be the only person who has framerate issues with the 360 version, as soon as I go near forests my FPS drops like a lead balloon. Nevertheless, it's a great game on every platform.

Oblivion isn't terrible! It's a great game. Play it on PC and you'll see what I mean (If you have a grunty computer like me)

I'm a 360 user but it is obvious PC is the best platform for the Bethesda games because it is the only platform you can fix the bugs and broken bits on.

The PC community fixed the disaster that was the Pitt whle Todd and Co. were swanning around sipping champagne at awards ceremonies.

Pc all the way, texture mods make the game look insane and run much better than any console version can hope to achieve and then theres the thousands upon thousands of Mods which make the game worthy of its high reveiw scores.

I don't see the point in posting on a thread like this if you don't like the game ¬_¬
Your comments help nobody.
From what I've played so far?
It's far from terrible!
Not as good as Fallout in my eyes, but still right up there :)

PC has mods and cheats, 360 has better controls and PS3 has a hefty price tag.
Who cares about cheats, it sucks the fun out of the game, the Xbox 360 controls are all over the place and what has the price for a console got to do with the game in general???

I have only had the game a day and spent about 2 hours on it.
I can't make a decent judgement yet.

Fair enough.

It can be the deciding factor in buying a console for the game or not.
Like the PS3 has Little Big Planet, not even Stephen Fry himself can convince me to buy one.

Mr Fry was in Fable 2 though

it convinced me to buy that... more so....

I think people prefer fallout 3 to oblivion because its easier, once you get enough caps in fallout your kind of set

but because the enemies in oblivion level up with you it just keeps getting harder

I agree :)
I played Oblivion for nearly 2 hours and I think I found a grand total of 20 gold.
In Fallout terms, I'd have been in the thousands for selling stuff on I think.
But I am enjoying it all the same :)
