Just a quick question, because one of the ways I find that I'm REALLY into someone is that I wait for them to say "I love you" first rather than play my hand too early. I might hint at it/flirt through IM or text message, but I mean actually saying the words out loud, spelled out.

If I feel it, I'm not about to play games about it. That said, I try not to mistake early infatuation/sexual chemistry for love & confuse things by saying it too soon.

As for who said it first, I have no idea.

I think there's a huge difference in when people expect it. For example, some people will go out for years without ever hearing those three words from the other. My friend, on the other hand, regularly exchanges them with a load of girls he knows through the internet, despite having never been in a relationship with any of them (except one).
