I like them when cooked or sauteed. Also, scallions and other green onions are wonderful, even raw.

I like them, but only cooked.
I sometimes order a chicken wrap and it comes with raw onions, it's horrible, I have to take them out.
But cooked, or in meals are yum yum.

There is one style of onion that has been ignored here: pickled! Sour or sweet, they can't be beat!
If I make it, it stands about a 90% chance of containing onions. I chop 'em real fine just so my roommate can't pick 'em out, heh heh heh.

Onions are awesome, and there is no force in the universe that would get me to say otherwise. Likewise for garlic - the world would be a substantially less tasty place without it!
I love me some onions. Can't get enough of them really. Purple ones are the best. I like garlic quite a bit too but you can easily over do it.
I was hoping this might be some insightful, informative and possibly thought-provoking thread. Oh well.
I love both onions AND garlic...sometimes at the same time! Why can't onion and garlic just get along!?
I know someone who hates onions, and I consider him a poor bastard in that respect, 'cause that shit is everywhere. Sometimes it's just small amounts, like hidden in your hamburger, and he has to go picking it out. Huge pain in the ass for him.

What Marter said. They aren't very good by themselves, but if you mix it in during the cooking process, it adds flavor.
I quite like onions. I will not eat one plain, but they can really spice up a sandwich or a hamburger.
